Remarks

The admission process was quite easy. I took admission during the pandemic so it was all an online procedure. Firstly you have to see the cut-off related to your course and if you are eligible to apply for that course then submit the application in the portal of DU.

Course Curriculum Overview

A choose this course because I was interested in Psychology. There are about 50-60 students in the batch every year. Faculty members of Psychology are Friendly. You will never feel like they are not cooperative or strict. Even they will help you in your career guidance.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 50000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

In the first year, it was 18k. In the second year, it was 16k and in the third i.e. last year it was 17k. I don't really know much about scholarships, you can find it out from the admin office or the helpline number provided on the site. There are not many job opportunities.

Campus Life

Life at DU is not a thing to discuss. It is all fun here. You will get annual fests, Kind friends, and in the north campus life is heaven. However, the fun is totally dependent on your friend's group that you make.

Placement Experience:

Adani Group, Reliance Insurance and other banks are some of the companies that visits JMC campus every year. Confidence and communication skills are taught to us from 2nd year and we stand eligible from 3rd year as even though our course is for four years we can get placed in the 3rd year itself.

JMC: A LIVELY EXPERIENCE

Placement Experience:

To get placement one need to be in their final year. Last year companies like Delloite, Accenture, etc. came for the interviews. Around 15 people got placement in companies last year. Highest package offered was around 23LPA and the average package was around 6LPA. The profiles that they offered was for accountants, career analyst, HR etc. People who got placement had decent percentages. They were higjly active in department and college activities and have done good internships too. After completing this degree I would want to get into Law.

Insights into DRC

After appearing for CUET UG, we make preferences of the desired college and on the basis on the CUET score, colleges are alloted. So, Daulat Ram College was my 7th preference and I was alloted this as per my category and cut off I cleaned. Although it was 7th preferred college, I have no regret of getting into it. North or south DRC is the best

The admission process was so long and time taking.There is entrance exam that is CUET for admission in delhi University.The admission will be on the basis of cut off.
