WHY PGDAV

I have not been given any entrance tax. It was merit-based. I have just filled application form. Application form, application fees, and application date are on du.ac.in or Delhi university's official website. I applied with obc certificate and because of that, I got the privilege of 4%. The admission process is a bit slow. One has to wait a bit longer to receive a call from the college.

I choose B.Com Program because it has a scope for the future and it has much better placement opportunities. There are different faculty in each semester. Sometimes more than 1 faculty can teach the same subject. There are at least 5 faculty for 50 students. And the ratio is 1:10. The faculty is well qualified. The way of teaching and behavior with students is nice. Even some are the authors of books for eg, Rajini jagota. We have 2 semester in a year. It is not very much difficult. Even if we go through last 10 year sample paper then we can easily pass the exam.

PGDAV has a placement cell that provides internships from companies like UnSchool, Accenture and many more. First, we can get an internship. There are various roles like marketing, content writing, sales and many more. I have done an internship with unschool and got a stipend of Rs. 4000.

During the 5th-semester students get eligible for campus placement. There are more than 150 companies that and more than 1000 placement opportunities. Campus placement is done by the placement cell. The cell provides placement from reputed companies, TCS, Wipro, Accenture and many more. The highest package is 19.24 LPA and the average package is 4.67 LPA. At least 35 out of 100 got placement. My plan is to get placed by a placement cell in a reputed company.

In the first year, the fee for the B.Com program is Rs.13900 and in 2nd year it is Rs. 12000. The price is cheaper in comparison to other colleges. College provides scholarships to students who came from economically weaker sections and required the certificate of EWS for same. The examination fee in the first year is Rs. 510 and in the second year, it is 960. College provides no. Of internship. I have done 1 and got a stipend of Rs. 5000.

The college organises various fest for eg. Diwali mela and cultural program. There are at least 5 feet in a year. Our college has one of the biggest libraries at DU and we can get any study material from there. There are not a lot of formalities. Our college has the largest ground in Du. There is a cricket club, football club, and basketball club. In terms of sports, our college is the best.
