Overview of college of vocational studies

Eligibility of course was the cut-off based which was a minimum cut-off of 89 for the general category in the year 2021. Everything will be provided on the du official site which is du.official.com. For SC and ST, the cut-off was around 75-76 in this particular course Not from my side because my admission was fully online

I basically choose this course as I was having a keen interest in knowing about insurance it's working its rules and regulations. Faculty includes the department of commerce department of science students in every course ranging from 70-90. All the faculty available over here is marvelous and everyone's teaching method is different and unique and is overall good Term exams are after 3 months there are 2 semesters in one year(a total 6 in 3 years) so in one semester only one-time paper is given that too in the gap of 4-5 months

Many companies come to our college with different sectors such as hr marketing finance etc. Company- aon Role- actuarial Stipend - 10-12k/ month Company - HCL Role - technical analytics Stipend- around 15k/ month

Our colleges offer an internship for all years and all semesters starting from 1st semester. Companies like Wipro TCS AON HCl etc visit our college and many students get internships in these reputated companies The highest average placement was around 13-14 lakhs and the average package is about 4-5 lakhs per company. The percentage of students getting placed is about 60-70 percent. My plans are to go into the coding field and after some time become a full-time stock analysis

The fee structure is affordable and is justified according to the services provided by the college whereas if you opt for this course in any other college it would cost you around 1-1.5 lakhs but in this college, it's around 11k per year. Our colleges invite companies like TCS AON Wipro etc for all sectors such as finance hr actuarial marketing banking etc

The mostly annual fest is organized by societies and they are super fun and super amazing unfortunately no tech fest Is organized in our college it is basically organized in the month of March or April. All types of books are available in the college starting from educational books to all storybooks. The classroom includes proper desks projectors marker boards etc Sports include volleyball, football, cricket, basketball, etc and the campus is big enough with 2 buildings one is an old building and one is a newly constructed building with fully furnished and projectors and campus also includes canteen auditorium, etc There are various societies run by college students it also includes NSS NCC etc
