Course Curriculum Overview

4

I chose this course because of my personal interest in human and animal biology. The faculty is great and friendly. The professors are all PhD and doctors + some are in training. As I'm from a Hons. course so the professors I had were pretty punctual and needed everything on time, but if you are a good student they can give you some extra time if they find it necessary, also we had a small class of students that lead us to a very dedicated learning experience letting every teacher remember our names and faces, lab facilities were good enough for a new experience and learn by ourselves. The exams, assignments, internal assessment tests and final semester exams were timely scheduled. The exams are medium-level difficult except for some questions.

Fees and Financial Aid

It's an off-campus college, that said it does not belong to either the North campus or South campus of Delhi University. The nearest metro station is Jahangir Puri (yellow line) after which you have to take a bus that goes to the destination taking about 20-30 mins accordingly. There are two campuses favourably called the Old and new campuses. The old campus was built when the college was established and the new campus was built in 2001. The old campus is for arts and commerce program courses (BA+BCom) And the new campus is for other Hons and BSc Prog courses. The campus individually has enough area. At first glance, it seems a bit smaller but later you'll find it spacious enough. There are practically no placements after your graduation. There is financial assistance to those financially poor background students, they can refund their annual fee under freeship eligibility criteria (not including exam and hostel fees) You can get plenty of exposure through different seminars and internships.

Campus Life

4

The annual fest is called SHRADDHA TARANG. which is held in the February - March time period like other annual fests of Delhi University. There are many cultural and department societies that organise competitions and events to explore and win. All of them are run by students of different years and in a friendly environment. The library is 2 floored and has plenty of department and course-related books and of other interesting fields. You can read, stay and study during college hours and issue books under the reception with your Library card. It is made free of cost so it's very beneficial and important. In sports, there is football (boys), cricket (boys) and NCC for both males and females. The principal and teachers support every initiative so be loud about your opinions it's a good way to improve your individual skills.

I will rate 10 out of 7 to this course curriculum because in this course the experiment and lab works is too low as compare to another courses like biomedical science, bsc zoology and many more. But it's ok I'm happy with this course.

Companies that visit are Bain and Co., Urban Clap etc. average package is around 5 lakhs. My plans after getting the degree are getting into a master's programme and pursuing research.
