Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course curriculum is perfect covering all the computer knowledge. Some of the faculty are very talented and dynamic. Faculty: student ratio would be around 7:60. All the faculty are trained and graduated with different degrees. Teaching methods are smart classes and laboratories. Every 2 months we have mid examinations and for every 4 months semester examinations and also supplementary exams. I'm pursuing a computer science and information technology course which has both computers and information technology course curriculum mixed subjects. College also provides hackathons and campus recruitment training classes from 3rd year of a bachelor of technology.

Internships Opportunities

3

Infosys, Wipro, Walmart, Amazon, and Google companies provide internships. With a course for 2-3 months then ends with a project. Some of the internships last for 10 months. They also provide full-time jobs if the student is worthy enough. College provides hackathons that extend internship opportunities for students.

College fees are about course registration fees for classes, library fees, hostel fees, and JNTU fees for University. Course registration fee is around 95000- 100000rs, library fee and JNTU fee combined are 15000 for 1st academic year and 9000 for remaining years hostel fee is 85000 for the present year may hike in the future. When it comes to scholarships 35% of the course registration fee is reimbursed when applied by students. For lower background students full reimbursement is available. The campus provides on-campus placements for students.

Campus Life

4.5

The college has lush green grounds, a gym, and an indoor stadium for badminton, cricket volleyball basketball kabaddi, and football grounds. The college has many clubs run by students themselves for arranging events for entertainment and social services and entrepreneurship. @mlritian in install is run by students. The college has many cultural events for students

Hostel Facilities

4.5

The hostel facility is very good with neat, healthy food and environment. Wifi, dhobi, hot water, etc. The hostel fee for an academic year is 85000 for this academic year which is too high. Students who can't afford the hostel fees can stay in hostels at Gandimaisamma, sundial.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like that the course doesn't feel outdated. Along with the regular subjects we spend a lot of time on coding, projects, and problem solving so it feels connected to what companies actually expect. As a second year student i already feel like i am building skills that i will be able to use during internships and placements and not just preparing for semester exams

Placement Experience:

No batch has graduated yet so there's no record of placement data yet. But more than 200 students got internships. Also the unique point of NIAT is students gets internships from their 1st year itself. NIAT has connection in the industry also its unique teaching style, this allows 1st year students to get internships. Although there is no pass out batch yet, still many people got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college course curriculum is outdated .As im studying in computer science and engineering,i wpuld love to study about technological aspects and grow as a software engineering but in the course curriculam they teach my about mechanical workshops,There were no practical experience it jsut understanding the concept with theoritical part . i would love lo code but my college wastes entire time by helping with electricals, meachanical basics. i dont think is it really necessary for me understand in all the feilds they think that student should perform in all the fields as im in computer science and engineering student ,They should teach me more about coding and computer ,how it industries works and how these technology enhacning ,the arenot even explore about all these sectos they only teaching me about fundametals of all the subjects which is never useful for my studies . as i am in final year of btech i thought learning and deepdiving into computerscience and engineering subjects is more greater than learning all sector fundamentals,The area they need to improve is removing some of the oudated syllabus from their ciricullum and enhcing with the pratical experience not to teach only theoritical part. they have to teach all the areas with realtime examples. The timings of exams is very good .we do have 2 mid exams and one semester final exams for each sem and the subjects feels meduim level difficulty

Placement Experience:

The placements are comparatively more in this college, as there is more industry exposure. Students are eligible for placements from around 3-2 (3rd yr-II sem) to 4-2 (4th yr- II sem). Companies like Amazon, Cognizant, NCR often visit the campus. The highest package offered last year was 1.2 cr (International offer). Around 90% students who were eligible got placement. My plan is to get a decent package after the degree.

Placement cell is least active.. Few good companies like Infosys, amazon, TCS etc visited but the average package is of 1-2 LPA and only 25-30% of students whose all exams are cleared can sit in the placement cell. The highest package is of 8LPA. My plan is to move abroad for higher studies.. The students after completion of 6th sem can sit in placement cell

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements after their 6th semester. The companies start visiting in 7th and 8th semesters. The companies are not much good and are mostly service based. So the placement statistics are also not much good. The highest placement last year was 10 lpa and the median placement was around 4.1 lpa. The placements were starting from 2.5 lpa. The better option for students is to apply for off-campus placements or start preparing for competitive exams
