Remarks
Eligibility is Graduation in any field. Apply on the XAT exam website before November. The exam is held in January usually. There is a percentile cutoff after the exam, followed by a GD and PI as a part of the selection process. College starts around June.
Course Curriculum Overview
The teachers are excellent. Courses are curated carefully and revised from time to time to maintain relevance to the market. Enough electives are made available to choose from. Evaluation is fair and transparent.
Internships Opportunities
The internship placement report available on the college website is accurate. Roles including but not limited to consulting, finance, HR, sales, marketing, Prodman, etc. are offered. HR folks also get shortlisted and placed in Consult, Marketing, and other roles apart from HR.
Placement Experience
All major companies visit and hire multiple candidates. 100% of students are placed within a few days. The placement report presented on the college website is accurate and not at all misleading. The placement process is largely transparent and fair.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is quite high. However, a loan facility can be availed if admitted to the college. There are many merit cum need-based scholarships offered from time to time. However, I could not take advantage of any.
Campus Life
Ensemble Valhalla is the annual fest. There are multiple other events conducted throughout the year by domain-specific committees for IR, HR, Tech, Finance, etc. The library is brilliant, the staff is very supportive and a plethora of resources are available. Many sports are played including but not limited to volleyball, football, cricket, chess, badminton, etc.
Hostel Facilities
The room size is decent. Since rooms are not shared, it gives enough privacy. However, the washrooms are shared and were a bit of an issue to initially adjust to. Food is served 4 times a day by the college mess.
Interview Experience
GD is usually case-based. The interview is unstructured and the interviewee is made the focus of attention. It is important to have a clear mind about one's life and vision to perform well in the interview.
