Remarks

Seth Anandram Jaipuria College is one of the best colleges in matters of study and teaching. The admission process is as simple. You will need to fill out the form when the college will allow admissions, a minimum percentage requirement will be there from the college's side, and your percentage needs to be above that. As soon as you pay the admission fees(very minimal 300-500) and submit the form. You will receive mail of confirmation and after you get to see your name on the merit list you can opt for admission within the given date. The commerce faculty is very praised by the students as well as by me. So I will strongly recommend you if you are looking for a govt. college in Kolkata.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course as I was from a commerce background and had thought of doing B.com Hons from the beginning only. The students are coed in this college although the ratio varies from class to class. The professors are well qualified and good to teach but at all the colleges some of the professors are there whose teaching won't make sense to you and that's very natural. The exams and tests as said by the college are very punctual.

Class Size: 90Course Fees: INR 4000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Not too high but yes not too low also the cost of doing this course won't exceed 15k including your books and copies expenses with sem fees. I am a third-year student and govt scholarships are there but I haven't applied for any of those so I am studying here without a scholarship.

Campus Life

The fest conducted by the college includes Fresher's Party, cultural dance and co-curriculum, National holiday celebrations, etc. The libraries are also well maintained and fully furnished with the required books.

Placement Experience:

Idk but i guess students become eligible from 2nd or 3rd sem. Idk what is the company visited but the placements are very good i heard that, avg package varies 2.4 lpa I guess. Right now i am doing internship so as of now i don't have plans.

SAJC - From The Eye of a Student.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is of course outdated. Teaching methods are old. No case studies, competitions or project of any sort is there in the curriculum. Although a project of 100 marks is there in the final sem, but I don't think that's enough. There is no practicality in the curriculum and usability in career. The syllabus really needs an uplifment.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is average , I chose this course because I wanted to do an honours degree and I'm from commerce background so my first pick was B.Com . They really put efforts to prepare students for well future , as I said earlier some teachers are genuinely very good helpful supporting and good at what they do . Something they need to approve is the 70% attendance criteria, I think they need to understand not every student is just persuing graduation they are doing some other courses or jobs etc so they can't maintain 70% attendance . The frequency of timing is average

Placement Experience:

In our college generally students get placement before the last semester exam. Lot of companies visits our college and give many placement offer opportunities to the students. The highest package was 6 - 7 LPA and on average it generally ranging from 2 to 3 LPA. About 60 to 70 percent students gets a different types of offer from different companies who visited our college, my plan is also to get a good and a decent package from our College

The best college for professional course students

Placement Experience:

Various companies come to this college for on campus placement Average package= 1000000 Highest package=2200000 Various multi national company and other big and small companies visit this college for on campus placement. Most of the students also get placement opportunities whether large or small package The opportunity is given to all degree whether it be bcom or bcom hons . Any student who does not get placed can easily use the degree to get a high paying off campus placements and to go to any good college or stay in this college for their post graduation.

SAJC - From The Eye of a Student.

There was only 3 better colleges I couldn't apply to. They were St.Xaviers Kolkata, Goenka and Maulana Azad. Seth Anandram Jaipuria College is among the top 5 colleges and is well known. It is also the best college in North Kolkata, some might not agree to me though. The deciding factors for me were very low fees, decent quality teachers, and the most important, quality of crowd and reputation of the college.
