Remarks

The admission process is through josaa rounds in which the cut for general is around 32000 all India rank. Reservation benefits are there to get admission but there is no concession of fees for reservation-eligible students.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is hectic, daily from morning 9 to 1 4 classes will be there, again after 2 hours of lab. All faculty have Ph.D. qualifications. The teaching method is a writing pad and projectors to display it. We have exams like mid sem1 and mid sem2 and end arm. If you don't study well it's difficult to pass these exams.

Placement Experience

College placements are very good. the highest placement offered is 45 LPA and the average is 11 LPA. more than 120+companies visit the college campus during the placement drive. The college placement cell is very active.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure you can get on the IIIT KOTTAYAM college website is around 3 lakhs per year, scholarships you have to apply for in NSP, etc. Opportunities are good for placements. On-campus placements are very active.

Campus Life

Tech fest is Dhruva. All kinds of books are available in library. Sports grounds are not there. Various clubs are the trenches club, technical club, cultural club, and sports club. The infrastructure is so good here and the campus is beautiful.

An honest college review

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester students become eligible for placements. The top recruiters in it sectors are Infosys, TCS, Cognizant, Tata Elxsi, Accenture, Oracle, Amazon, Wipro, UST GLOBAL, IBM. The top recruiters in other sectors are Mu Sigma, Ernst and young,, federal Bank, h and r block. Most of the placement are in it and related sectors. The average package is 4 to 6 lpa.The highest package is 34 lpa in Amazon. In 2024, 35 percent of students got placed. I will look to get campus placement in a reasonable package or I will try to get jobs by other means.

The placement department in our college is great and is always trying to bring good companies to the college. The placement training starts from semester 7. Our top recruiter include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, NocoBD, Delloite, etc. and our mechanical, civil, EEE,ECE all got placements with avg of 4lpa.The highest package where 12 Lpa for SAP. no placements but good to explore your interests
