Remarks

Students have to give WBJEE or JEEMains to take admission in this college. After they disclose the rank of thes exam students wait for their counseling and they have to take admission to selected college. Also students can take admission directly contact with college officials as management quota. Although their fees are also high.

Course Curriculum Overview

I did choose this course because of the trend or you can say the craze at that time. Our department has more than 16 number of faculties and approximately 50 students at a class. Faculties are knowlegable and most of them are asst. Professor. Unit test were taken on monthly basis and two semester held on a academic year. These exams are quite difficult because some questions may come out from the syllabus.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 85000 per year

Internships Opportunities

I have studied in core subject. Because of the trend of IT and CSE, we didn't get any internship. Although other department like IT, CSE, ECE,AIEE,BME. Students got intership. Some worked for cognizant and BME students got intership in different hospital.

Placement Experience

From 6 or 7 semester, students become very active about campusing. Most of the students got a Job in IT companies before 8th semester. Students can appear both on campus or off campus. Our Training and Placement cell is not that active. So most of the time, students have to find and appear in interviews of their own

Fees and Financial Aid

For non TFW student, the semester fees varry between 37500-42500 Rupees on different streams. Total of 32500 rupees was tution fee and others are library fee, sports and game fee etc. Students who got tfw have to pay less fee. Students can apply for the scholarships like Oasis, Swami Vivekananda Scholarship etc. But after we pass out from this college, the tution fee increased upto 30-40% .

Campus Life

Fest were taken on yearly basis. Different departments organized their own fest, then the other department followed them. Most of the books are available in library. Football match were organised by students. Also our college has a cricket team and we invite other college teams to organise a match.

Placement Experience:

From 4th year students become eligible for placements.Google, Microsoft,Gold Man Sacks, Apple were some of the companies that visited NIT Durgapur For placement regard.The highest package was 80lpa and the average package was 13 lpa.Total of 83% students got placed.The placement is quite good.

our college average package is 600000 per Anum and highest package is 1800000 per Anum according to recent data. and 80% of student got placed . And wipro , windows, tcs , siemens , tata like companies come to our college for placement. Core students are also got placed but many of them goes for hihger studies.

My experience about techno

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year onwards , students become eligible for internships and stepping in 4th yr , students get eligible for campus placement. Techno provides decent campus placements according to your marks. Good marks also with skills get you better salary. Minimum 7.5 cgpa is mandatory to have you sit for campus placements. The lowest package is 3.4 LPA and highest vary but students also get 14LPA easily. Wipro, tcs ,cap ,gemini, amazon , ibm etc.

Companies that visits campus: TCS Accenture Cognizent Infosys Wipro Capgemini Deloite Byjus Tech Mahindra Placement Percentage-On average 80%-90% of students may secure jobs through campus placements.However this numbers could vary across different departments and specialization Highest and average package-The highest salary offered at Techno India University was 24 LPA and the average salary was 4-5 LPA. Plans after getting the degree: My plans depends on placement.If I get a job of around 15 LPA then I will not do master degree and if I get job of around 4-5 LPA then I will do master for further great opportunities

Things you should know before taking admission in NSEC

Others college which i got confirmed is RIT /quantum and haridwar university but i didn't go there because it was very far from my hometown and placement wasn't that much good as compared to my current college. I have given the west bengal joint entrance exam(wbjee) and through it the nsec college was allotted to me through counselling process. When the result declared, you have to apply for counselling and put your choice of colleges with rank. Every round you will be allotted college according to your result rank. Passing out in 2025, have seen a old place in 2021, to a new college in 2025, rennovated

I had a senior in my locality, 2019 passout, following whom I joined NSEC. I still admire and thank him for guiding me while joining NSEC. While admission I didint face any kind of interview. I had got a rank in WBJEE, and during the first counselling round, I selected NSEC, got NSEC, and finalized it by paying the first semester fees. I wasnt rejected by any college, as I went ahead with my first option. The counselling round at college isnt anything special, just a question whether or not we would be able to bear the college fees, as all comes down to money.
