All About My College

A canditate who clears JEE Main and a cutoff of around 1 lakh CRL rank are eligible for admission in this college. All the admission process if held on website of JAC Delhi online through rounds. Relaxation is there in the cutoff for SC, ST, PWD, Single girl child etc. I think the admission process was really late. It will be good if it would be early like others.

I choose this college only because of placements. It has a great placement record and it's said that 99% of the students will get a job here. Faculty availability is fine. The teaching method of the faculty varies a lot. It depends solely on the teacher.There are 2 semesters here in every year and exams are held 2 times per semester, one mid term and one end term. The exams are kind of moderate here.

Internship opportunities start in 3rd semester and many good companies(most of them same as the time of placements) come here for the same. Stipend is also good. One project, skills and good communication is needed for cracking a good internship.

For internships, 2nd year students can apply in every field. Placements start from 3rd year. Companies like google, adobe, flipkart, Amazon, Microsoft, uber etc. visit here for on campus placements. And placement record in tech field is pretty good. Highest package was 1.25 crore per annum last year. From core side, highest package was 55 lakh per annum. There are a high chances that all candidates will get a job here(99%). My goal is also to crack a good tech company with a good package.

The fees for first year is around 1.25 lakh and it increases each year. So the total 4 year fees is around 8 lakhs. Opportunities are huge in this college. We get informed about the scholarships, internships and opportunity news in college itself. On campus placements are also good in tech side and is getting better in core side.

Campus life is not very good. Campus size is small. There are 2 fests per year conducted here. One is Taarangana(Cultural fest) in May-June and other Innerve(Tech fest) in September-October. The availability of books is fine. The more early you go, the more are the chances to get the books. Extra curricular activities are also done here through societies. Our sports society name is Synergy. And there are a lot more good socities helping in the growth of students. Socities, clubs and resources are great here. There is also a website made by IGDTUW students on which all years question papers and notes are included. GDSC, Lean in, Celestial Biscuit, Innerve, Taarangana, Instinct, BHAV, girl up aadya, minerva, crihti etc. Are the clubs, socities and fest teams of which you can be a part of.
