Remarks

The admission process in Daulat ram college, University of Delhi is based on cutoff lists which are generated on the basis of the best of four subjects percentage. But from this year 2022, an entrance exam will be conducted named CUET.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is quite good. Exams take place once a semester. There are 2 semesters in a year. Students are also good. There are approximately 70-80 students in a course and there are approximately 2-3 sections for Every course.

Course Fees: INR 15000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is quite good and affordable for most sections of society. My course fee is 15000 per annum. Scholarships opportunities are good. But campus jobs are not good, only students of a few courses get most of the opportunities.

Campus Life

Campus Life is very good. Most of the best colleges of Delhi University are here on the North campus. Students from every corner of the country come here to study. It creates an educational environment.

Interview Experience

No there was no group discussion, interview, or written test for the admission. The whole admission process is online and based on merit bases which are calculated as per the marks scored by the student in class 12th.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Too vague to understand, feels extra burden of unnecessary irrelevant topics , extra papers like SEC/VAC simply add to the burden while barely providing with any skills and values as their name suggests . Studying them and preparing for exams add extra stress and unnecessary burden on them , diverting their focus from their core papers , which are already too huge and they study materials or readings simply fail to assist . Areas for improvement would be - proper structured study materials , also proper structured practical subjects / papers for students where they can actually learn or gain knowledge/skills which will be advantageous in their future .

German course has high demands and in germany there are relevant chances that I can get good paying jobs,I would say that the teachers are really nice, if you study well they will help you alot and are really appreciable, I would say there are none to improve because it's kinda easy to study the subject on your own, the difficulty of exams are what it should be like, it's good it's great, to make you a better person and student, and the time duration they give is enough to solve each and every exams

Placement Experience:

SRCC has one of the best campuses and our basketball court is so famous that many movies too have been promoted and shot there. Our campus is big too and our auditorium is such that many top personalities have come and spoken there. Even leaders like Barrack Obama too had an interaction with SRCC students in an open air event.

Insights into DRC

After appearing for CUET UG, we make preferences of the desired college and on the basis on the CUET score, colleges are alloted. So, Daulat Ram College was my 7th preference and I was alloted this as per my category and cut off I cleaned. Although it was 7th preferred college, I have no regret of getting into it. Good internship opportunities

The admission process till last year in University of Delhi was on the basis of 12th std marks, but from this new session(2022-2023) there is an entrance test CUET. The eligibility for the same was the student must've cleared 12th board exams and the application form was available on NTA official site. People with reservations(SC, ST, OBC etc..) do get a lot of benefits like for them the marks are less for getting a good college as compared to non- reservation seats.
