Remarks

The admission process was not entrance exam based, it was cut-off based, the First cutoff was 79% so I got admission in the first cut-off. The admission process took time because of the verification process but the staff of the college are very helpful and supportive so all the process ran smoothly.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose BCom because I wanted to. The student ratio was okay-ish kind of off. The size of our class was 100 students. But let me tell you all the teaching staff is well qualified. They supported us a lot. You know because of the COVID situation examinations were not taken the time and we also haven't got enough time to do proper preparations, I'm 2022 pass-out so I was in 1st year before COVID took our precious 2 years but college and teaching staff gave us proper online classes. And you know difficulty level in exams is same in all Delhi University college, it is not so very hard to pass in exams.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 3500 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Our annual fees were like 3500 approx. in 1st year same in 2nd year and 2500 in 3rd year excluding examinations and other fees, of course, I guess people can afford this. There are scholarships according to caste. I haven't got any job or internship from campus may be due to the COVID situation. COVID messed up everything.

Campus Life

To be honest I haven't enjoyed enough of my college life but there is a huge Library in our college you just need to get a Library card for access and there are drama clubs, dance society, music society debate society etcetera in our college and they keep doing annual functions, cultural fests in June/ July.

An Unfiltered View of SRCC

Placement Experience:

Placement in SRCC is very amazing, and way beyond the placements of DU colleges. A lot of big big names in Finance, and consulting domain, recruit from campus including McKinsey & Co., Bain & Company, Kearney, Big 4s and all. Highest package is 35+ LPA and Average Package is 10 LPA. I HAVE PLANNED TO complete my ACCA along with a little work experience.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Although, people say that B.Com doesn't have a great scope to it, I feel like there are many life lessons that we are taught during our college years. Since the introduction of NEP 2020, there has been a rather great emphasis on practical learning. In our college, we are asked for presentations and group projects to promote learning and communication. The presence of SEC and VAC also helps you develop your soft skills, groom your personality and live a happy and healthy life. Exams are help at the end of every semester. There are a few guides and PYQs with the help of which a student can prepare for these exams. They are relatively easy in my opinion and do not require extreme efforts. Overall, it's a great experience and a great opportunity to learn so many things.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose b.Com because I am from a commerce background. It is an open college class held only on Sundays classrooms are good but washrooms are average. Teachers are experienced and well-educated. Exams are held on every 6 months semester wise you have to study hard to clear exams.

I was given this college on the basis of the score in the CUET Exam which i gave after my 12th. It was a tough exam i would say because compiting with 20 Lac plus students for just a seat in DU is not an easy task. While preparing the prefference sheet and combinations for the college in the admission process was a confusing task. So i select all the cobinations of courses and colleges which i was eligible and then i also select my course and college, but i never thought that i would get it, still though i was happy that i get to study in one of the DU college. St Stephens obviously as for Science, its one of the best DU college. The cut-offs on which the admission matters had a massive difference in the kind of marks i had vs the actual cut-off of St Stephens.
