For eligibility, you should have given JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) in that current year and should be in the top 75 percentile on your boards. As soon as joosa counseling starts JAC Chandigarh portal also opens for admissions in its engineering instructions. Reservation for OBC/EWS, SC-ST, PWD, defense quota, Kashmiri migrant, exits with 70 percent quota reserved for Chandigarh students in CCET which is one the engineering institute in Jac Chandigarh.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this B.E mechanical engineering as I was getting this branch on my rank secured in Jee main 2020. A good student and faculty ratio is there and teachers r kind and friendly to help you out with every difficulty in subjects. Are faculty r rigorously trained and genius in their field of education and area of study. There r two mid-terms and one final end-term exam in one semester there r two midterm exams in which the best out of two is taken and consist of 30 marks while the final term exam consists of 50 marks.
Placement Experience
After the 6th semester, u become eligible for placement and training various mnc visit our campus for placements. Google, American Express, Zs scaler, Deolite, and Samsung, are one of them, and 120offers were made which were equal to 12 lakh CTC. The highest package from our college was 36 CTC. Overall 88percent of students got placed in our college.
Fees and Financial Aid
The best thing is this is budget friendly college yea u heard correct, the whole year of college fees is just 1lakh 4 thousand while other colleges have this as their per semester fees, u can apply for a scholarship from your own state scholarship schemes as our college don't have this schemes.
Campus Life
The annual festival is held once a year named "GOONJ" In every October and PSOC related to collaboration in programming once in a year there is a good and vast variety of every book related to engineering in our college library plus you also have access to AC Joshi library largest in Panjab university, a classroom is provided with Ac, and all other necessary things, there almost 26 clubs in our college and sports activities are held twice a year.
