Top Tier Review of Netaji Subhash Engineering College

The admission process was very smooth. I got selected from WBJEE counselling. I opted for both WBJEE and JEE MAIN rank so I got selected by JEE MAIN rank. The college cutoff was close to the 50000 WBJEE rank and the 150000 JEE MAIN rank. The overall B. Tech fees for 4 years are close to 400000 approximately. The admission starts from June onwards. I chose ECE ( Electronics and Communication ) as my B.Tech course. It has a high placement rate and more prospects in future. The faculty of this department is very good. There are around 20 faculties in the department. Their teaching method is one of a kind. Students can learn new technology domains in this department. The semesters were moderately difficult. The professor's lectures are enough to pass a semester.

Companies from IBM, Microsoft and Amazon offered stipends of 50000 per month. The roles were software developer, graphic designer, content writer and many more. Interns had to work on e-commerce websites and real-life projects.

The placement rate is the highest among all the other colleges in West Bengal. The average package offered is 6.5 LPA. Over 30+ tech giants visited the college. The highest package reached was 32 LPA offered by Amazon. Almost 95% of students from CSE, ECE and IT departments were placed.

This college charges close to 4 Lakhs for a 4-year course. It is 84000 per year. The placement rate is very high. I landed an internship at Whitehat Jr. with a stipend of 30000 per month for 3 months and a job of 6.5 Lakhs p.a at Accenture from on-campus placement.

The campus is amazing. It provides a football ground, a badminton court and a common room. The freshers' welcome of NSEC i.e Prelude happens in the month of July and the annual cultural fest Mesmerizer happens in the month of November. The annual Tech fest Avenir happens in the month of August. The library has the largest collection of books related to engineering and it also provides a fully air-conditioned reading room along with computers. The classrooms are big and spacious. They have projectors for digital teaching. The college consists of a Dance club, a Debate club and a Tech club. The college hosts inter-departmental cricket and football tournaments.
