Remarks

I take admission online. I have to submit all the required documents and then after all details are verified my admission got confirmed. No didn't take any competition, I got admitted on basis of percentage and reservation. All required details are present at college and can also come to know from the college admin office. No admission process is very smooth. Admin officers are helpful.

I want to pursue MBA, and that's why I choose this course. In my section, about 50 students are present whereas 4-5 teachers are allowed to each section for every subject. Professors are well qualified and knowledgeable. Exams are held at the end of the semester. The level of examination is difficult.

Fees and Financial Aid

Students have to pay 12500 per year for BCom Hons in my college. Many schlorship programs are launched by colleges such Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar schlorship for the Sc/St/Obc students who perform well in their department. College also provides schlorship schemes for the students who want to pursue their master's from abroad.

Campus Life

Annual fest held in the month of April 'yuvaan' which run for 3-4 days continuously. In the college library, students can get books easily related to their course and can also sit and study in the library also. Mac has football, cricket, volleyball, badminton court and many indoor games and outdoor also. For good health, students can work out in the college gym. NSS unit of maharaja agrasen college runs many programs such as blood donation camp, run for unity and many more such programs

Placement Experience:

Students from 3rd year onwards may sit for placements. There are several companies visiting our college for placements, such as Zomato, Tech Mahindra, EY, MagicPin, etc. My plans after getting the degree personally include pursuing a PG degree.

The course curriculam is well-structured and covers all the core subject relevant to the field . It help in building strong theroritcial knowledge but lacks enough real-world case studies and industry exposure . Exam are conducted regularly and are of moderate difficulty . When students enter 3rd year of their college , they are eligible to sit for placements but should have minimum 8 CGPA .A lot of companiess visit campus , details of companies are on the website of college.The highest placement till now is 20 Lakhs per Annum and average goes around 6-7 Lakhs per Annum. A decent percentage of students get placed. Honestly most students here are pursuing professional courses so they don't sit for placements instead continue with their courses .

Why DU has the best college life

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that great but decent. Mostly placements are good in the north campus but still my college provides decent placements. However one has to maintain their academic score for the same and be consistent.

I chose this college based on infrastructure as there wasn't much information available about this college online. Alsoz on the du official website, this college is mentioned as North campus which was a confusion for me at that time as I thought it was true but it wasn't as this is an off campus college of Delhi University. The admissions in the whole of University of Delhi is based on CUET scores. The preferences need to be filled by the students and then he/she is allotted the college according to the cit off and the scores. The subjects that need to be taken in cuet should be the same as in 12th boards. For humanities/arts courses the scores are out of 800. So, for arts courses the normal cit off for general category students are around 650, for obc students around 500 and for sc/st is much lower....Read More

MAC is magnificent!!

Same as CUET as all the colleges listed under DU has the same process. Its not that 12th percentage are ignored they too are calculated but ultimately the winner is CUET. Definitely MAC was not the first choice as it was the Hindu College but never mind MAC was good too....Read More

My personal experience of MAC

Earlier I got admission in Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar college university of Delhi but Then I got this one in second round of admission. And I choose this one because of it's fee structure that is less compared to others. And for the admission you have to appear in common university entrance test (CUET) conducted by NTA then you have to apply for the admission through Delhi University's counselling process which is common seat allocation system CSAS then according to your score and college preference you'll get your admission....Read More
