NSEC is really a good college with good placement. Also it is a student friendly college CSE, IT, ECE & EE are really good in this college. Also an old college that's why Alumni network is very strong

My WBJEE rank was 12.6k. I got an allotment for the IT branch. CSE cutoff was 12.4k in 2021, & cutoff for IT was around 20k. One can get admission here in this college through WBJEE as well as the JEE main rank. Although management quota is also there.

NSEC follows the MAKAUT curriculum & the main thing is that under the MAKAUT curriculum the Syllabus of CSE & IT is completely the same. The faculties of NSEC are extremely good. Most of them are Ph.D. degree holders. & our HOD (IT) is super awesome. Faculties are experienced, well qualified, helpful & student-friendly.

From the 3rd year, students are eligible for internships. Many startups come & offer an internship to students. Also cognizant, TCS, and Accenture hires intern for the software engineer role Amazon provides 6 months internship to the final year students with a stipend of 80,000 per month also which gets converted into PPO.

For 2022, overall placement is 91% & 600+ total jobs have been offered. CSE, IT & ECE branches have good placement. All eligible students get placed in this branch. In 2022 a student from NSEC got 2 international offers worth 1.5 Cr. from D.E Shaw Luxembourg & Goldman Sachs Poland (Warsaw). The highest package is 60 LPA offered by Head out. & average package is 6.5 LPA. Companies that come for campus placement - Amazon, Nutanix, Thoughtworks, Deloitte, Hashdin, McAfee, Larsen Toubro, Tiger Analytics, Celebel tech, Amdocs, PWC, EY, TCS, Infosys cognizant, Accenture, Capgemini, Wipro, Chegg, xenonstack & many more. The placement drive starts in August. i.e; after 6th sem. Also, 3rd-year students get an internship in cognizant, Accenture, etc. For placement, this college is extremely good.

For 2021 4 year B.Tech fees were 483000 but every year they hike their fees. There are multiple scholarship opportunities that are accepted by the college. & also multiple student loan programs like Vidyalaxmi student loan, West Bengal Student Credit Card, etc.. are recognized by the college. College also organizes campus placement for the internship role from the 3rd year.

The campus is not so big. So you will not able to see many buildings & their different depart multiple scholarship opportunities parental Branch. But still, a small playground and Indore game facilities are also there. NSEC has a big football ground but not on the college premises. It is 500 meters far from the college. NSEC has multiple clubs like Google Developer club, Tech club - Phoenix, Eco cultural club, Rotaract & sport club Every department has its fest & alumni met up. For IT we have Inceptra. The tech club also organizes a hackathon for students.
