Remarks

Professors took an entrance exam, and a student with a minimum graduation grade of 60% can apply for this course. We found the application form on their official website, and we were not charged any application fees. The application period runs from August 31 to September 15, 21. Seats are available for the reserved category. We want more faculty in our college.

Course Curriculum Overview

I love to know more about humans. 8 professors and almost 200 students (ug+pg). All professors have completed their PHD and their teaching skills are outstanding. Exams are taken twice a year.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 7200 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Because it is a government-sponsored college, the fee structure is moderately high. A total of 28,800 rupees will be charged for the PG course. We were awarded a Swami Vivekananda merit scholarship, which means we will receive 30,000 RS per year for the next year.

Campus Life

One Annual fest which was conducted in June. More than 100 books are available in our college library. We want more stock of books. The principal is very fond of sports and games. We create a social group.

Placement Experience:

Actually this is a general degree University , so I must mention that placement facalities are not so good. But yes , Job Fair is organised in University by some external agencies which offer jobs varying 2-2.5 lakhs per annum . But in the university most of the students do not accept that jobs. Half of the students are more interested on the higher studies. So ahet completing the fourth semester they prepare for PhD. And the another half are preparing for central government sponsored exams like CGL, CHSL, RRB, SBI , IBPS, LIC etc. University has a significant number of students who have qualified for Government Competitive exams.

Placement Experience:

Actually Some of the Local Companies & Private banks Offer placements which are averagely worth 250000/-. Some of the Students appear for it , but the Number is Very less. Actually In Present Circumstances , Most students wants a stable Government, Especially Central Gov job . So they Prepare for exams like SSC , SBI , IBPS, LIC , RRB etc.

Niper Kolkata: from starting to end

Placement Experience:

2nd year students are eligible for the campus placement. Sai, Hetero, mendine, dr. Reddys etc companies visities for the campus placement. Offers ranges from 5-12 lpa. 60% students gets placed, 10% goes for higher studies and others get job off campus in my department. Other departments has 100% placement. My plans are pHd from Niper as it provides vast knowledge and instrumental exposure.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My decision to choose this course depended on the fact that this course provides you with the opportunity to get various jobs in the industries with a high lpa. But this college does not help much in that aspect. All I had to do was myself. It is my humble opinion that the institution should improve its guidance in the area of its teaching methods. The exams were twice a year and were quite difficult on their own.

Overall a good campus with facilities and good environment
