Remarks

Merit base admission process. Application at college website. Sociology in HS or English in HS. Website is far better. OBC-A-5, OBC-B-2, ST-5SC-4 seat. You can go college website Maulana Azad College and go to admission zone and after that you find the form.

Course Curriculum Overview

I want to give upsc exam and my optional subject will be sociology, for that reason I choose sociology. We are 35 student and 3 teacher in our department. Our HOD D P C sir is too good and also Aditi Basu ma'am and MP ma'am also very good. The term exam conduct 6th months later and exam are difficult but if you read well you can qualify.

Class Size: 35Course Fees: INR 1545 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Our Annual admission fee 1545 and in middle of the semester it down to 850 and exam fee semester wise 355 . And I get Swami vivekanada scholarship and 12000 yearly monthly 1000.And also poor students can get money and tuition fee from college.

Campus Life

Dewar-e-majlish and many other fest held. Sociology books are available and also journal available. Classroom are good. Annual sport and inter college sport's held. NSS group and other group in the college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are several prospects, especially peer-to-peer counseling, where you get a mentor. We call it mentor mentee program. So, there will be groups of students, and each group will have a mentor who helps you whenever you face any issues whether in real life or in your academic journey. They’re always there for you. There are also remedial classes, and extracurricular activities are included in the curriculum. You even get the freedom to choose what you want to pursue creatively, like joining poetry clubs and similar groups. Right now, I’m at Banaras University, and the curriculum here is really good. We have sessions on public speaking, how to conduct interviews, and many other practical skills. These are highly commendable because they help you in professional situations like the one I’m in now. However, I would say that teachers could be a bit more active with electronic tools like using PPT presentations or audio-visual methods instead long lecture sessions. As for exams, I wouldn’t say they’re too difficult because there are many weekly assessments and sessionals, which actually help you evaluate yourself better.

Review of the college where i spend three long years and gathered every knowledge that is available there.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I used to read so many novels from my childhood and that inspired me in getting attracted to this field. We used to have the fecility of having seminar in the end of every month after compleating of each lessons. And this process helped us in true education. After every year professors from differnt parts of the country used to come for a seminer for overall groth of the students. Actually is theory teaching style is followed in the college, according to me some developments in the practical teaching can be used. Semister is held at the end of every six months and the exams are used to be moderate in nature.

I applied for almost all of the NAAC accredited A graded college. In each of those my name appeared for the selection list for admission.
