Remarks

I took admission here through WBJEE counseling . My rank was 15185 . Cut off for IT was around 20k and for CSE was around 13k . So I took admission here through counseling . Process was so simple and fast.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because my rank was 15k cutoff for CSE was 13k, But I didn't got that so I took IT branch. Faculty are highly experienced and too supportive . Most of them are PhD holder from IITs or Jadavpur University.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 483000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Amazon, TCS, Accenture and other startups offer internship in our college . In terms of internship and opportunities our college is of 8/10 . Quite good if you work hard and sincerely. You will easily get internship.

Placement Experience

From 3rd sem students start applying for internship . On campus placement is decent for CSE, IT, and ECE branches . One of the student from our college grab 1.5 crore package off campus. So college doesn't matter, Your skill matters at the end. Our college comes under Techno India Group So you get good chance as there placement happen pool campus.

Fees and Financial Aid

At the time of admission i paid around 70k which is including admission fee, dress charge , 1st sem fee. Then after in April, I paid 65k . We have to pay two times in 1 year. Total fee is 4,83,000 . You can take various scholarships and loan. Note - If you are from Bihar and thinking to take loan from DRCC due to which I choose this college .So there is no loan in IT branch as it is not NBA certified yet . So either took CSE or ECE.

Campus Life

Campus life is decent. Not so cool. There are lots of clubs and fests which happens every month. library is Okay. Classrooms are big with projector equipped. Sports are available in campus, You can play anytime TT, carrom , chess, etc.

From 4th year students become eligible for placements.Google, Microsoft,Gold Man Sacks, Apple were some of the companies that visited NIT Durgapur For placement regard.The highest package was 80lpa and the average package was 13 lpa.Total of 83% students got placed.The placement is quite good.

our college average package is 600000 per Anum and highest package is 1800000 per Anum according to recent data. and 80% of student got placed . And wipro , windows, tcs , siemens , tata like companies come to our college for placement. Core students are also got placed but many of them goes for hihger studies.

My experience about techno

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year onwards , students become eligible for internships and stepping in 4th yr , students get eligible for campus placement. Techno provides decent campus placements according to your marks. Good marks also with skills get you better salary. Minimum 7.5 cgpa is mandatory to have you sit for campus placements. The lowest package is 3.4 LPA and highest vary but students also get 14LPA easily. Wipro, tcs ,cap ,gemini, amazon , ibm etc.

Elegibility for placement-Generally students become elligible for campus placement in their 7th semester or 8th semester and there might be some prerequisties such as minimum CGPA must be 6-7 with no bachlogs Internship and pre-placement offers-many companies offer internships during the 6th semester or 7th semester and successful interns may receive pre-placement offers if their performance is good. Companies that visits campus: TCS Accenture Cognizent Infosys Wipro Capgemini Deloite Byjus Tech Mahindra Placement Percentage-On average 80%-90% of students may secure jobs through campus placements.However this numbers could vary across different departments and specialization Highest and average package-The highest salary offered at Techno India University was 24 LPA and the average salary was 4-5 LPA. Plans after getting the degree: My plans depends on placement.If I get a job of around 15 LPA then I will not do master degree and if I get job of around 4-5 LPA then I will do master for further great opportunities

Things you should know before taking admission in NSEC

Others college which i got confirmed is RIT /quantum and haridwar university but i didn't go there because it was very far from my hometown and placement wasn't that much good as compared to my current college. I have given the west bengal joint entrance exam(wbjee) and through it the nsec college was allotted to me through counselling process. When the result declared, you have to apply for counselling and put your choice of colleges with rank. Every round you will be allotted college according to your result rank. Passing out in 2025, have seen a old place in 2021, to a new college in 2025, rennovated

I had a senior in my locality, 2019 passout, following whom I joined NSEC. I still admire and thank him for guiding me while joining NSEC. While admission I didint face any kind of interview. I had got a rank in WBJEE, and during the first counselling round, I selected NSEC, got NSEC, and finalized it by paying the first semester fees. I wasnt rejected by any college, as I went ahead with my first option. The counselling round at college isnt anything special, just a question whether or not we would be able to bear the college fees, as all comes down to money.
