Course Curriculum Overview

I had keen interest in the subject biochemistry that is the study of biology and chemistry. I was also always fascinated by food processing and technology which lead me to pursued this wonderful course . Here at lady Irwin college the faculty is very helpful and sincere exams are held twice a year that is one exam per semester. Difficulty of exams is high but one can pass with flying colors if studied hard.

Fees and Financial Aid

As everyone knows Delhi University provides a wide range of courses at low fees Yes they do provide financial aid scholarships for underprivileged students for both undergraduate and postgraduate program . Unfortunately there is no on campus jobs available.

QUINTESSENCE is our college fest which is held once a year. the fest is very happening and many famous celebs like ayushman khusharana have performed in our fest. Our college library has a wide selection of books from medical terminologies to reading novels it has everything spread across 2 floors. Our college has many societies The Entrepreneurship Cell, The National Service Scheme Unit, Ace- The sports club, Chitrika- The photography society,dwani - the music society, Vani - the debate society, Nrityanjali and the most famous one which is mainly known for our college that is the fashion society .

Sri Venkateshwara College’s experience

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements on the 3rd year, we have decent placement opportunities but not the best, highest package is around 15 lakhs. Companies that visit are Bain and Co., Urban Clap etc. average package is around 5 lakhs. My plans after getting the degree are getting into a master's programme and pursuing research.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is bsc life science and its not that good for future perspective but it includes both zoology and botany so I choose it. Beside this we have some skill development courses which is quite good it teaches subject like basics skills of IT and python. Good and nice college to opt for if one wants to be a dietitian.

Admission process was totally offline first i had to fill out the form for it then the cut off came for it in which i found my name. Then i go to college and completed further admission process by submitting my documents and submitting fees for the course. Admission in the course totally depends upon the merit list and no entrance is there for it.
