Remarks

The admission was based on our JEE main scores, anyone who had passed grade 12 in 2021/2020 was eligible for admission in this College. The application forms for jee went out in January 2021 and we had to register for the jee main exam on the website for the exam.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because I feel like data science will be the next big thing and it will soon be a skill required in the future. We have 35 students and 5 teachers per subject who are extremely qualified and teach us with perfection. The exams were held in a hurry because of covid 19 our semester was cut short and it made us a bit hectic. But the difficulty of the exams was easy as they were online

Companies like Google and Microsoft come here for internships students should be well versed with coding terms and work on their own projects that help them refine their skills and then sit in interviews which will help them get ready for real life interviews

Placement Experience

Campus placements are good students are eligible for placements after the 8th semester big companies like Google and Microsoft come to our college for placements the highest package was 54lpa and the average package was 14lpa 80 percent of students get placed, I plan to open my startup after getting a degree

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees hike is minimal and it is affordable, the cost of studying is around 1l per semester which is expensive. We were given the gp birla scholarship that covers 15 percent of our tuition fee which helps us in paying the fees

Campus Life

Life on campus is amazing we have a green campus with all facilities, we have an amazing sports facilities and a library which has all the books required for our course, the entrepreneurship club is an amazing club run by the students

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are good with spacious rooms and good food being served to us 4 times a day, all the hostel facilities are equipped with sports facilities for the students to enjoy and common rooms to watch tv

Like everyone knows in which carriculum they are interested ,similarly i know i have a keen interest in my subject i.e. physics . We can't see physics as a theoretical and mathematical aspect but in our daily Life we use to experienc it . Like if something is fell down there is a reason behind that is gravity .we use to experience physics in our daily life . Some teacher use to make us feel for that subject but someone make us bore sometime. It happens rarely but sometime it happens. So i suggest them to change some activity Like teach with more energyso tha we can't get bored. Sometime we get very lengthy paper in the exams so everyone have to prepare before the examination with high speed.

A Transformative Journey : My College Experience

Placement Experience:

The campus placement in our college is held after the completion of all 6 semesters and there is very limited number of companies that come over to offer placement but off campus placements starts from 6 semester onwards. The companies visited were Vedanta for graduate trainee offering 1.40 - 4.65 LPA Tata Power for graduate trainee offering 1.90 - 3.69 LPA Only 40% students got placements. Many students didn't take part as the packages very low & even the perks were not so good. I planned to do higher studies in M.Sc. As the subject was very intriguing I preferred pursuing more knowledge.

Placement Experience:

BITM is known for great placements. Campus placement is good . Average package is 15 lpa. CS -19 lpa Mnc- 15 lpa Ece- 15lpa Mech- 10lpa BITM offer better placement than most of NITs. Many students crack off campus placement. CS highest- 1.86cr MNC highest- 89lpa.

I had NIT Raipur Chemical Engg, rejected it because I didn't like the campus amenities of the same, zero sports facilities, they play Football on a Red Soil literally. I got this in CSAB and hence it was a better ranked college than NITRR, i've heard of people opting a lower preferred branch in BITM over a branch in NITRR such the brand value of the college. I scored pretty avg in JEE 58k rank so wasn't eligible for all the clgs anyhow. Admission process is pretty simple JOSSA and CSAB. Admission experience is obviously good because why would a clg not welcome a laxmi lol jk....Read More

Actually This college was in my list but as a last option as i was getting RVCE and BMS few reputed colleges of bangalore but my parents insisted for this college as this college carries a good brand name of BIT,Mesra. Yes, Due to my not so good performance in JEE Mains I did not get the college i was hoping for. A student should first appear in JEE Mains and score a good percentile to get in to this college.
