Admission is through a centralized process organized by JOSAA(Joint seat allocation authority). No improvement is required for the admission process. Reservation for SC/ST is there. This is a GFTI(Government funded technical institute)

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is great and data science is also good for the future. The professors are great. For a batch of 30 students 6 highly intelligent professors are there. Some teachers are from different departments.

Internship opportunities are there from the prefinal or final year and you have to wait till then. So many good companies come here for taking students for internships like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, directi, Deloitte, etc

Placement Experience

Placements are great here. The average package for college is around eleven lakhs and the average package for our branch is not yet there because this is a new branch . Average for cse is around twenty one lakh

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fee for this program is ten lakh . Scholarship is provided by college. Gp birla scholarship is provided to meritorious, needy, on compassionate grounds as well. Some scholarships are provided by GOI as well

Campus Life

Life at the campus is great. The campus is very big. The total area of campus is. 800 acres and you have to take bicycles to roam around the campus. The campus is so beautiful, so much greenery is there. You can understand

Hostel Facilities

Hostel rooms are very good, clean, and hygienic. Mess food is edible but sometimes good and mess fee per month is around 3000-3500 per month . You can register for hostel and mess on bit welfare society.

Like everyone knows in which carriculum they are interested ,similarly i know i have a keen interest in my subject i.e. physics . We can't see physics as a theoretical and mathematical aspect but in our daily Life we use to experienc it . Like if something is fell down there is a reason behind that is gravity .we use to experience physics in our daily life . Some teacher use to make us feel for that subject but someone make us bore sometime. It happens rarely but sometime it happens. So i suggest them to change some activity Like teach with more energyso tha we can't get bored. Sometime we get very lengthy paper in the exams so everyone have to prepare before the examination with high speed.

A Transformative Journey : My College Experience

Placement Experience:

The campus placement in our college is held after the completion of all 6 semesters and there is very limited number of companies that come over to offer placement but off campus placements starts from 6 semester onwards. The companies visited were Vedanta for graduate trainee offering 1.40 - 4.65 LPA Tata Power for graduate trainee offering 1.90 - 3.69 LPA Only 40% students got placements. Many students didn't take part as the packages very low & even the perks were not so good. I planned to do higher studies in M.Sc. As the subject was very intriguing I preferred pursuing more knowledge.

Placement Experience:

BITM is known for great placements. Campus placement is good . Average package is 15 lpa. CS -19 lpa Mnc- 15 lpa Ece- 15lpa Mech- 10lpa BITM offer better placement than most of NITs. Many students crack off campus placement. CS highest- 1.86cr MNC highest- 89lpa.

I had NIT Raipur Chemical Engg, rejected it because I didn't like the campus amenities of the same, zero sports facilities, they play Football on a Red Soil literally. I got this in CSAB and hence it was a better ranked college than NITRR, i've heard of people opting a lower preferred branch in BITM over a branch in NITRR such the brand value of the college. I scored pretty avg in JEE 58k rank so wasn't eligible for all the clgs anyhow. Admission process is pretty simple JOSSA and CSAB. Admission experience is obviously good because why would a clg not welcome a laxmi lol jk....Read More

Actually This college was in my list but as a last option as i was getting RVCE and BMS few reputed colleges of bangalore but my parents insisted for this college as this college carries a good brand name of BIT,Mesra. Yes, Due to my not so good performance in JEE Mains I did not get the college i was hoping for. A student should first appear in JEE Mains and score a good percentile to get in to this college.
