The admission process was smooth. DELHI UNIVERSITY made a portal in which we have to log in and then send application to different colleges as per our cut offs. Once it was done, college would approve that as per their rules. Information about admission process and dates are updated on official website of du.
Course Curriculum Overview
We just have semester exams and internals in which teachers prefer to take tests. They are nice and not that difficult if one has gone through all the concepts and past years. One can prepare decently in 1.5 months for the whole semester. faculty is really educated and good to us .
Placement Experience
My plan is to go for a master's. In terms of packages, our college provides 5 lakh PA average as package. Companies and percentage of students getting placements depend on the course. Being a demanding course as economics hons, it has its own perks. Many MNCs come for students like amazon,google etc
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees are reasonable. It is around 7,500 for the general category in economics Hons. Scholarships are provided on a different basis and our college organizes a research program (SIP) in which it provides mentors as well as a stipend as well.
Campus Life
Rhapsody is our annual fest and the economics department has its own fest which is organized every year. Books are abundant in our college for everyone and they can be issued for 7 days. New Classrooms have been made and old classrooms are decent. Our college is active in organizing events and many clubs like zeal, galore, arthaneeti are there in which students can take part.
