Remarks

The admission process was very easy . And all online. DU makes 5 list of cutoffs . You can take admission in any college and course if your cut off matches. You can find admission form on official site of DU . There are reservation benefits.

Course Curriculum Overview

BA Political science is a great subject if you are interested in any type of civil services. Most of the faculty is the alumni of JNU . Teaching method is great . Very supportive and intelligent faculty. Ratio would be 60:1 . Exams happens once in 3-4months after every semester. And paper pattern is good.

Course Fees: INR 7000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Our Maitreyi college provides internship on both hybrid bases i.e. online and offline. Internships plays a important role in enhancing the personal level development in every individual. Our college provides internship on various foundation.

Placement Experience

Students become eligible to hold placement only after graduation. But i am from the arts background i do not tend to know more about the campus placement. I have to prepare for civil services. But yes college do provide great placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

College also provide scholarship to those who are economically poor. Have to write a application for it . As for my knowledge there is no campus jobs . And fees is minimal or the course. I was not part of any job on campus as it does not suit my course.

Campus Life

Campus life is great . Our college has the most beautiful gardens. Annual fest called rhaspody is organised by our college in which many famous Bollywood singer and bands perform. There are various clubs/society in our college to develop the inner capabilities rather than just academic of the student.

KM COLLEGE - FILLED WITH COMPLAINTS ?

Course Curriculum Overview:

Too vague to understand, feels extra burden of unnecessary irrelevant topics , extra papers like SEC/VAC simply add to the burden while barely providing with any skills and values as their name suggests . Studying them and preparing for exams add extra stress and unnecessary burden on them , diverting their focus from their core papers , which are already too huge and they study materials or readings simply fail to assist . Areas for improvement would be - proper structured study materials , also proper structured practical subjects / papers for students where they can actually learn or gain knowledge/skills which will be advantageous in their future .

I have applied to aryabhatta College before Maitreyi College for Women. So comparison to this college Maitreyi colleges stands out on various aspects:- Before 2024 the admission process is entirely dependent on merit list and the cutoffs. But from 2024 the admission process changed and now Cuet Exam is mandatory. A valid score of cuet and 12 th class is required.
