Remarks
I took admission on the merit base.ie. cut off. Got admission in the first cut off, And the procedure was quite simple. After cut off i had to go the college the next day and submit the required documents which were told on the official website. And verification of those documents didn't take much time and people were their to help. After verification the admission was secured. And also if wanted to change the college in next cut offs, that was also possible and had a simple procedure.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course and the faculty members were good. As far as learning experience, it was average. There wasn't much extra curriculum to make that course interesting. Teaching methods were normal, just few teachers were exceptionally really good. All the teachers were understanding though. Exams held twice per year, i.e semester wise. Labs in the chemistry department are good accordingly to the learning, but the condition of labs and apparatus issued aren't really good in such colleges.
Internships Opportunities
There weren't much internship offers for chemistry students after UG. I didn't get such opportunity there after UG. Maximum one can ask if for lab projects under the guidance of any professors which could help you afterwards.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees structure was around 13k per year, sometimes less and sometimes a bit more making it 36k for three years course. There weren't really opportunities for placements or scholarships in the chemistry department for under graduation.
Campus Life
Campus of the ARSD college is quite good compared to other colleges of DU. Has NIRF ranking better than few very known colleges of DU. Includes a huge number of societies and extra curricular activities. As Nimbus and drama society are very well functioning and fun. Talking about library, it was good as per requirement. Fest of ARSD college has been really amusing from past years. Happy club named social organization is there which was arranging quite impressive freshers as well as fests during my college.
