Remarks

I am glad I chose this college for my under graduation. No other college would have been able to give me the kind of personality development, this place has provided.

Entrance Preview

No entrance exam! Admission through class XII CBSE score. I chose this college because it is the best commerce college in the country.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course curriculum is the standard set by all colleges in Delhi University for B.Com(H). The subjects are selected to cover the important aspects related to commercial and business world. Course contents are a healthy mix of theory and practical project works.

Internships Opportunities

The college does not mandate the students to undertake an internship project. However, most students do utilize their breaks gaining practical experience through internships. There is a well functioning internship cell that tries to accommodate as many internship offers as possible.

Placement Experience

4.5

Being the best commerce college in the country, the college has always attracted best of the companies and has boasted of healthy job offers. There is a well functioning placement cell looking after the process. However, the process is confidential and we are not allowed to share any details

College Events

5

There is a main cultural fest called "Crossroads" that has been acknowledged as the best undergraduate cultural festival and is hugely celebrated. Apart from that, almost every society in college (around 30 in number) holds mini fests. Also there is Youth Conference and Business Conclave to mention a few.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The college is air conditioned and hence the fees is slightly higher than other non air conditioned colleges. However, it is still feasible keeping in mind the host of facilities that are being provided.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are various scholarships offered on merit/merit-cum-need basis. Details can be found on college website

Campus Life

4.5

SRCC is a way of life! You ask every SRite, they will have a different story about how the college changed their life. There is a plethora of extra-curricular activities to suit everyone's' interests. The gender diversity is skewed with more girls than boys.

Hostel Facilities

4

I haven't lived in the college hostel to comment on the same. However, as heard from my friends, the rooms are quite comfortable and the food is reasonable too.

Alumni/Alumna

College boasts of many notable alumni and also hosts annual alumni meet. The seniors here are like family and they go to every extent to help you out.

Exam Structure

The evaluation in a particular course has 25% internal weightage and 75% external or end semester exam weightage. While the 75% component is a three hour written exam, internal assessment is a mix of class participation, attendance, projects etc.

Faculty

5

The college boasts of one of the most qualified faculty members and rightly so. Many of the teachers are published authors and are visiting faculties in top institutes like ICAI, ICWAI etc. Some of the faculty members also have a considerable industry experience which is an invaluable value add to students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculam is well-structured and covers all the core subject relevant to the field . It help in building strong theroritcial knowledge but lacks enough real-world case studies and industry exposure . Exam are conducted regularly and are of moderate difficulty . Adding more project-based or skill oriented components would make the course more practical and beneficial for placements or higher studies .

When students enter 3rd year of their college , they are eligible to sit for placements but should have minimum 8 CGPA .A lot of companiess visit campus , details of companies are on the website of college. The highest placement till now is 20 Lakhs per Annum and average goes around 6-7 Lakhs per Annum. A decent percentage of students get placed. Honestly most students here are pursuing professional courses so they don't sit for placements instead continue with their courses .
