Remarks

IIT Kharagpur admission 2022 is entrance-based. Students are selected based on various national-level entrance exams like JEE Main, JEE Advanced, GATE, etc. The institute comprises 12 schools and 19 departments offering over 120 courses across 10 streams at UG, PG, and Ph.D. levels. Interested students can fill IIT Kharagpur application form by visiting the official website of their respective national-level entrance exams. Additionally, the institute also offers micro specializations, and minor or dual degree courses. The admission process is very good and no improvements are needed.

Most of the teachers are qualified enough to become professors at IIT Kharagpur which is a good reason for the facilities to be that great. Faculty members are highly educated in their respective fields and have taught most of the students who became alumni. They keep changing the course content to adapt to the industry trends but are not very frequent.

Endowment scholarship: These scholarships are awarded through an endowment fund and the rules that govern such awards are stated below: 1. B.P. Poddar Scholarship 2. Our central library is one of the largest and the finest libraries in Aisa. Virtual learning is one of the most advanced on the campus which consists of advanced classrooms. IIT Kharagpur has an eco-friendly green campus in which students like to explore the campus.

Placement Experience:

1)From 6th semester students become eligible for campus placement. 2) Cognizant , TCS(most fav), Wipro, startups, IBM visit for recruitment . 3)In 2023 highest was 45lpa by amazon average is 4.5lpa. 4)From our Hostel each and every senior get placed. some with good package like tcs digital, even off campus (2025). 5)My plan is to take a job and enter in IT firm to learn and teach new technolgies through my YOUTUBE.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Personally i opted for electrical and electronics instead of the branch of my choice is because my scores were not enough to secure a seat in CSE. But EEE is pretty cool as well for those willing to grow in this branch. Our curriculum exposes us to the rapidly growing sectors in the industry and educates us of all we need to know about the course in depth. If you want to continue ahead in a research field, this Institute is the most supportive. The exam questions are also relevant enough and considering we only need to actually stress over end semesters, its fair enough per semester. It would be better if our professors removed the attendance criteria rest im fine with everything else

Clg Review

Since I was interested in getting into an IIT from class 11, and IIT KGP was the only college that gave the best branch to college ratio among all other IITs that I was eligible for based off my rank. The admission process for my college for B.TECH involves JOSAA, a counselling system for all government engineering colleges in India where the eligibility criteria is based off JEE ADVANCED rank. Since you can only select one college through JOSAA, the only one i selected was this as this was the only one I was alotted based off my rank. The cutoff for my college is around 12000 for General Male and 20000 for General Female. This increases for other categories like SC ST OBC etc....Read More
