Remarks

College admission is through Jac Chandigarh counseling. And eligibility criteria are for candidates at least one jee attempt and clear the cutoff of the respective cast. and passed the class 12th board exam. Jee's main rank is required for admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

College is one of the best in terms of fees and return on investment. The fees are very less. The faculties are good since it is govt college. Professors are recruited through UPSC.college comes under Panjab university which is one of the best universities in India.

Placement Experience

Around 90% of students are placed in Cse and ece but the placement is less for mechanical and civil that is 60%.amazon comes to campus and there are various companies visit campus. Many students go for higher studies abroad and in India.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees for a year are around 60k and there are various scholarship programs available if you come under 3 out of your class your complete year fee is returned. There are various scholarships for the economically weaker section.

The college has good infrastructure in terms of sports hostel facilities. Big cricket ground 2 basketball ground. A football ground. Various undergoing development projects are going so in coming time infrastructure is going to improve more

There is a hostel available for outside-state students. Hostel fee is very less than is 4k per the year which is very much economical. The college has a very good location and it is one of the best in terms of locations.

Great exposure, Learning and Placements at CU- A well rounded experience

Placement Experience:

I am a recent graduate in computer science with specialization in artificial intelligence and machine learning. i took admission in CU just because of their excellent placements for the computer science students and what i feel is during my journey they provide i'll not say 100% placements that they guys claimed but yes the placement is really good. the average package is of 7-8 lpa and they offered placements globally like in hyderabad, pune, banglore, noida that are considered as best places to work in IT sector. but in my last year i.e 4th year i have been offered a position of software engineer intern in gurugram and that was off campus so i grabbed that opportunity. and there is one policy of chandigarh university if you opt for off campus placement then you get debarred from the TPP campus placements of chandigarh university and you will not be able to sit in the campus placements of chandigarh university. rest overall the campus placement is good.

The Life in Chandigarh University

Placement Experience:

The placement is the one of the strongest region in this college. From 6th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placements. From 4th semester,there is placement training program which makes students get ready for interviews, tests in placements. There are prominent companies who visited our college like Microsoft, Google, Infosys, TCS, Wipro etc. The highest package offered by a company is Rs. 54LPA and average placement is Rs.8LPA. 90% of eligible students gets placements. My plans after degree is to study MBA and get into entrepreneurship and business.

Placement Experience:

After the sixth semester, we are eligible for placements. many multinational companies visited for placement such as Amazon, Google, Wipro and many more. The highest package is 36 lack per anum. Around 600 companies offer placement on campus every year.

A TRUSTED COLLEGE FOR A SAFE FUTURE

Placement Experience:

The campus offers good placement in amazon and other high digital online platforms. The placement completely depends on the rank of the students. Many companies such as Amazon and Birla group have visited the college. They also offer good jobs abroad with attractive salaries. Mostly in a year almost 30% of students are placed in job by the college itself. Rest 50% will surely get jobs in good companies if they have good academic statistics. After getting the degree, I would like to get job in foreign country like America and would like to settle there as the college also offers job in abroad.

I was ready to choose btech course (civil engineering ).collage faculty was more than i expected. Collage was more friendly. As in the case of students was very good at college. And also our teachers are more friendly in studies and helping the students in studies.During the examination our teachers works well. And they are able to make the students to score good marks. Okay so for getting admission in Chandigarh College of Engineering and Technology Sector 26 Chandigarh 1st you have to give JEE mains exam for that exam you have to attempts in a year provided by NTA. After giving JEE mains exam you have to apply for Jack Chandigarh counselling that takes place after the JEE mains result has been declared they are total free rounds for that Chandigarh counselling and after the three rounds there are some rounds for spot rounds. If you are looking to get admission in computer science or electronics plans then you have to achieve at least 5260000 rank in JEE mains if you come from general quota and other state there is 85% reservation for students that are in Chandigarh and 15% for other state quota. So as another state quota student and as a hostess and as a computer science student I would recommend you to achieve at least 50000 to 60000 rank if you are looking for CSE or electronics branch in our college....Read More

CCET- an decent college if you want to learn and discover yourself along with knowledge

Firstly,one should have appeared and scored decent marks in JEE MAINS and have to apply through JAC CHANDIGARH counselling and opt for this college. And should have 50% or above in 12th The application for gets out around after JEE MAINS session 2 and can be found on google easily. For admission they take jee mains rank into consideration and for leet they take PULEET into consideration.
