Remarks

NIT Agartala is a well-known NIT in India and is well-known for its CSE programme and placement records. I passed GATE and met the college cutoff marks, and I was able to secure my seat for the M.Tech in CSE programme during CCMT counselling. The college admissions process was very smooth and straightforward. Admission forms can also be downloaded from the college's website.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I felt that the college curriculum was very well designed, and it adhered to all of the most recent regulations and industrial developments. The curriculum not only covers all of the topics and engineering aspects, but it also assists us in creating our decision-making and analytical skills. The curriculum combines theoretical and practical knowledge. The college's faculty is excellent and highly professional. The faculty members have earned their PhDs from India's top universities. The faculty is the one who makes it easy for us to understand the basics.

Internships Opportunities

4

The internship programme at the college is excellent. After completing our three-year programme, we are eligible to participate in the college internship programme. The internship has provided us with invaluable knowledge of the business world. The average internship stipend is around Rs. 45,000.

Placement Experience

4.5

NITs, in my opinion, are among the best colleges in India, with excellent placement records and offers. The college is completely focused on improving its placement quality, which is why the placement record improves and grows year after year. Every year, the college maintains a perfect record, with the highest placement offer being around 30 LPA and the average salary offer being around 12 LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college has splendid scholarship schemes. The college provides scholarships through schemes like Post Matric Scholarship for OBC/SC/ST, Minority Scholarship (Moma Scholarship), Central Sector Scholarship Scheme for SC/ST, Post Madhyamik Scholarship, National Handicapped Finance Development Scholarship, North Eastern Scholarship, ONGC Scholarship, IOCL Scholarship, Special Scholarship Scheme for North Eastern Region Under UGC, Dr. Ambedkar Post Matric Scholarship for Economically Backward Class (EBC), Scholarship Programme for Diaspora Children.

Campus Life

4

The campus is unique in that it spans 365 hectares. The modern architecture of the buildings and the lush green campus is breathtaking. The sports complex is the largest among all NITs, and it includes a swimming pool and all other sports equipment and plays areas. The labs are all outfitted with cutting-edge technology. Classrooms are large and have a study area. People have different opinions about the mess food, but the as a whole quality is good. Otherwise, the canteens are open (even at night). There are also medical facilities on campus at all times. The clubs are fantastic here because they allow you to interact with other students and seniors.

Hostel Facilities

4

The hostel is beautifully designed. The rooms are equipped and fully furnished and rooms are designed so that sunlight enters the rooms properly. The hostel is properly cleaned, and hygiene standards are met. The food at the hostel is delicious. Every day, the hostel restrooms are cleaned. The wardens are very professional, the staff is extremely helpful, and the hostel discipline is extremely well managed.

From my experience, since the university has various departments, the student to teacher ratio is very high. Moreover the curriculum is outdated and you could rather apply to this university as a last option.

Remarks:

this institute was veryConsiderate about meritorious students who might not have good gate score. No extra fee was charged for non GATE admission. my course was relatively new so special attention was given to tbe students in the teaching process. It is a National Institute which is usually a higher echelon institute.Yet the teaching staff was humble and far more considerate about the problems a student face. The only down side was the administration department some of the students had to face a lot of issues when ot came to the disbursement of stipend. The faculty did a great job navigating the classes during the pandemic but the same tenacity and dedicated was a little wanting from the administrative department.

Remarks:

NIT Agartala is growing at a very fast rate in terms of infrastructure and placement drives. There are many acclaimed faculties which also happen to have very good ties with companies such Intel and L&T. In terms of hostels and playgrounds, they are newly inaugurated and are kept very neat and clean. Technical Club such as BAJA stays very active and have also won the competition with other top tier colleges in the past. Laboratories are kept in a good condition and students get freedom to work there through day and night. It provides a clean and healthy environment for students to learn and grow.
