One of the best University for M.Tech

The college management system is very good. But I think if they give extra effort for development then it will help us future all juniors.

Our course curriculum and exam structure of M.Tech in Material science and engineering as same as done as per UGC rule and regulation. In our course curriculum, 1st semester has a total of 3 core branch subject and 2 elective subjects which offered by our department and another other department and also have 2 labs. In 2nd semester have 2 core subject, 2 elective subject and one computer foundation course and have 2 labs. From 3rd and 4th semester, we have only a project and presentation. Overall good curriculum structure available here.

Almost 80% of students were placed in our course. Last year some student went for higher studies like PhD and some of the students placed at Ants Ceramics Pvt Limited, Mumbai as an Executive Engineer. Average salary is nearly 30000 per month. Interesting thing is that our subject is only M.Tech subject where offered M.Tech course at whole North East. Last year some of the students completed an internship at CSIR Jamshedpur. Overall good placement offered after completion of course.

In our University, we all celebrate cultural program Udbhaas. In this cultural fest, we all have participated. Except this we all celebrate all national program and also we celebrate university foundation day. Except this in our university always conducted national and international conference by all departments.

Fee structure of our M.Tech in Material science and engineering in averagely lower than other institution. That is our biggest advantages for us. In our University for M.Tech in Material Science and engineering course per semester, we have to pay 28500 rupees.

I cant opted for any scholarship. But except me, all students from our department opted scholarship. For general students who's family income less than 450000 opted NEC scholarship. And SC students opted scholarship by NATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP PORTAL.

The campus life of our university is very good. Gender ratio almost equal in our university. The infrastructure of our department and facility of the hostel in our university is comparatively better than other universities in the northeast. Here free MHRD Wi-Fi available. And all the classroom in our department is digitally built with the projector. As per the requirement, our course lab equipment is available here. PG Hostel in our department is newly build-up and all facility are there. Food quality are very good. Here the gym centre is available and also football, cricket, basketball ground available. Overall all are very good.

Alumni network and all seniors are very helpful. All seniors treat us as a friend. If we face any problem they are helping us.

I was selected by Tripura University Entrance Test(TUET), M.Tech in Material Science & Engineering, which held in the month of July. In TUET exam I got 2nd position. After the publication of result department conducted counselling as per rank. After counselling, I paid a fee and went to class.

All the faculty of our department is highly qualified. All are PhD holders. And our HOD is also MPhil and PhD holder. He is also worked as a scientist for almost 10 years. And other teachers also are very qualified. All faculty published their paper at the international journal. Yes, our M.Tech course curriculum is relevant. Our lab work which is guided by our faculty make ready for us for work in the industry as a scientist. Overall faculty and course curriculum is very good.
