MOST UNDER-RATED COLLEGE IN KOLKATA

The Eligibility criteria is >=45% in PCM aggregate, also you have to qualify WBJEE ( West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam ), or JEE MAINS to get into this college, for CSE you have to get a rank of under 10,000 in WBJEE, and around 70k in JEE MAINS. My rank was 6939 in WBJEE, whole admission is done through counselling conducted by WBJEEB its a 6 week process.

Computer Science and Engineering was my desired branch thats why I opted for it. Total numbers of faculties in CSE departement are 26 total batch strength is 180, so faculty to student ratio is very good professors are well qualified most of them have done there masters and phd form Jadavpur University, IIEST SHIBPUR, NIT DGP and CU. Beng Affiliated to MAKAUT exams are condected by the board itself.

College offers internships after 7th semester, stipend depends on the companies it varies from 25k to 80k mostly around 30-35k. 3rd year students also get interships but mostly though off campus in companies like Morgan Stanley, Amazon, GeeksForGeeks etc, stipend ranges from 30-45k in these.

Placements of CSE, IT ,ECE are really very good ( CSE>95%, IT>85%, ECE>90% ), overall college placement percentage is 85%.CSE 2022 passout has an average package of 5.6 LPA. Highest on campus offer is 32 LPA by Amazon, and Highest off-campus is 1.5 Crore and 1 Crore both are international offers by DE SHAW and GOLDMAN SACHS. Other product based companies visiting the campus are SAP LABS, MC AFEE, THOUGHTWORKS, MICROSOFT, NUTANIX, BMC SOFTWARE, CERNER, CLOUDERA, ZS ASSOCIATES etc.

The return of investment good for 2021-25 batch fee is Rs. 483000/= for 4 years 8 semesters. You can opt for TFW and get full tution fee waiver. College also helps us to get all kinds of scholarship for eligible students like SVMCM, AIKYASHREE and etc.

Campus life is awesome no nonsense restrictions you can do what you want you can focus on building skills getting internships just maintain 75% attendance, college never forces to have more than that. College library h more than 1 lakh books, classrooms are very good euipped with projectors, also the labs are very good all facilities are available. College have various annual fests like ZENER, MELANGE, AVENIR, MESMERIZER and etc.
