Remarks
When a student spend years in a college and actually attend it then you are bound to connect yourself to it and get to know of the management for sure. The management was much better then many others but things to work on is the usual government style of working that is slow and not a friend of rules, it goes for students as well.The equal love and support should be given to all societies in a college and this something missing here.
Internships Opportunities
The internship based provision was not such a popular phenomena for this course particularly.
Placement Experience
The placement and job opportunities is tried and managed at it's best because as your final year starts numerous companies are there to interview you. sometimes 2 or 3 a day and with my personal experience you are updated with registering yourself with the placement cell.Names are Zomato, Google, Ernst and young and many more.
College Events
The events celebrated could term our college as the celebration hub because most of the departments were celebrated their separate fest along with the Annual Cultural fest-ULLAS.In addition there were different cultural and sports events organised time to time. theatre, creative and debating societies celebrate their events. Recently in my final year i.e 2014 we celebrated 50th anniversary of our college and it marked the festivity arrival!
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is feasible but no hostel facility make it very difficult for outstation students to rent the expensive PG(paying guest),Flats etcThe food is really good in the canteen.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are few cash prices given for the academics performance that are memorial, loan facility is not that common and heard of.
Campus Life
Being a all girls college there is a rule of one only, the female sex and the male will be seen in events.But you could see the diversity as any other D.U college. Different states to different culture and religion to the one wearing their own ideology and original brands to no brands.Politics was there for the election but never went ugly.The ECA is something to look for- Enigma, sangeetika,lakshay and abhivyakti are some from the hard-working people to present their talent in front of the audience..
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network and seniors were helpful and can be seen on special occasions. specially when you join something new a the society you look for someone to guide you with the past experience in form of your senior and i was lucky enough to find in both of my societies- Abhivyakti(Hindi debating society) and the Consumer club.
Faculty
The faculty was the best provided for this course. as it is not an honor degree, or research based curriculum so the class for a mix of the three streams came to chose their interest in combination of a variety of subjects such as psychology,maths and history with economics and so on.Teachers were good to teach for every subject.
