Remarks

Eligibility: 12th with PCB/Biotech with more than 75% in each Qualified NEET exam Application form, date, fees: Managed by NTA check their website www.nta.nic.in My examination date: 13 sept 2021 I got DU quota benefit (85% seats of delhi mbbs colleges will be reserved for those who have cleared their 11th and 12th from a delhi college)

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is strictly based on NMC guidelines. We follow competency based curriculum. The faculty members are all from well reputed colleges (MAMC, AIIMS etc.) There is no shortage of professors. The exam schedule of DU is a little more intense than IPU. But ultimately it pushes you to complete your syllabus !

Internships Opportunities

5

We have to do a mandatory internship as part of our course to apply the knowledge we have learnt over 4.5 years. We do internship in our hospital and get a fairly good stipend for it. Nevertheless, we learn a lot during internship.

Placement Experience

5

There is no concept of college placement after MBBS as most student prepare for NEET PG and get admission in PG courses. Being in LHMC gives me an advantage of getting 50% DU quota in PG entrance i.e. 50% seats are reserved for MBBS students passed from DU college that includes MAMC, LHMC & UCMS.

Fees and Financial Aid

The course fees is minimal. Scholarship opportunities are provided under GOI scheme. You'll get to know more about them once you enter the college. Professors too help you in finding opportunities if you require financial aid. Our college library is available 24 X 7 to cut on your expenses!

Campus Life

5

MBBS is tough, like you have to study do that you are actually capable of treating patients it's not just about passing exams. But we do find our leisure time in college. We have numerous societies which are very active, our annual fest SPLASH, and just exploring Delhi as the college is located in CP so every evening stroll outside campus ends up being a surreal one.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel is alloted on basis of distance from the college to your permanent residence. Hostel is fairly decent, it's in double sharing basis and we get 2 single beds, 2 study tables with chairs, and fan and lights. Mess food is like any other mess, it's consumable. Mess fees is different than hostel fees, right now it's 3000/month.

Interview Experience

5

Admission is through NEET UG exam that is conducted yearly for admission to all MBBS colleges gov or private, there is no interview or follow up rounds. A good rank in NEET UG will secure you a college in Delhi.

Night Life

5

We have a 24hrs reading room available, and no in timings for hostel, so you are free to go anywhere and come back at any hour. CP is relatively safer to roam even during odd hours but caution is obviously advised. Long walks to India Gate and seeing the crowd of CP on weekends is my favourite pass time. Gym is there but closes at 4/5pm.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As the curriculum is well organised and implemented as well. After completing one unit of each subject the exams are conducted as class test. We have postings in our 2nd year.We go to wards and observe patients. One thing that should be improved is teaching method. It should not be only slide reading rather it should be interactive one.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The MBBS COURSE is a professional course and popular course all over the world. In this you have better opportunities after the course you can increase your qualification by MD, MS after MBBS. MBBS is less chance to job less you can do the job in any hospital as a doctor (physician) or any specialist after MD. And also you can start your clinic. Facility students ration is less but it's enough 10-12 members of faculties in one subject but In UCM students also 170 in one batch So the ratio is good Faculties are more qualified and well experienced. Their knowledge is excellent. Their teaching method is really in a good way. They mostly teach through ppt on projectors and mic. Practicals are performed in good way Teachers help every student to perform practicals. 170 students divided into small groups with a teacher provide to every group so you can perform practical in a good way. Term exam held in every 3,4 months and difficulty is not more but also it is not so easy.

Course Curriculum Overview:

1. Bcoz in mbbs in addition to money there is also a lot of respect, plus it is easy to explain what are u doing ? 2. There are a total of 100 students in our batch and there are at least 2-3 assistant professors, 1 head of department, and at least 4-5 postgraduate and senior residents 3. Assistant professor and Head of the department has already completed there pg's and has experience of 5-10 year of teaching, Senior resident had also completed their pg but the difference between sr's, AP, and HoD is that sr's have lack of experience 4. There is an exam after completion of a particular unit and this is easy then comes the term exam which occurs after 2-3 months it comes under the category of moderate then there is pre-proof before the proof this is quite hard even for some say it's harder than proof, then finally comes off the last exam of that particular year after proof another year start bcoz results of proof usually take 2,3,4 weeks at least
