Remarks

The process was good. They have checked all the necessary information for admission and going through the process was very good. You have to be 12th standard passed and have to give the jee exam or equivalent board joint examination. The application is very simple. After giving the joint examination, and the result out students have to seat for counselling. In this counselling Process, they have to select their personal choice for college selection from higher preference to lower preference. After that, the least amount should be deposited to the authority for security purposes. For admission, it is wiser to shortlist correctly for counselling purposes. To be honest it's a lengthy process to complete the whole admission process takes time overall. The application dates are revealed after the result come out of the jee examination. And then the counselling starts. It's always wiser to check on every college's catalogue and brochures. For best results do your own research.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

This college offers many courses - Btech, Mtech, BCA, MCA etc. CSE, IT, ECE, MECHANICAL, CIVIL and other streams are provided here. The facilities are available for the students anytime. They are very helpful. The facilities are knowledgeable and well behaved. They all are qualified for the job. The teaching methods are great. Though some faculties teaching methods are a bit old school. In my opinion, they should change a little bit. There are 4 class assessments for every semester and a final semester exam is to be held. The semester exam is pretty hard. To be honest, Students need to follow the lectures to be updated always. Take notes for the future.

Placement Experience

4

The placement drive starts from the start of the 5th semester. The college provides guidance for the aptitude test and interview preparations. The mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infotech, cognizant companies come for the interviews. 80% of students get jobs in campusing. After getting the degree I'm planning for going to the USA for doing MS.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is 3.9-4.5 lakhs for the Btech course. Per semester the fee is around 42-55 thousand rupees. The government scholarship ( Swami Vivekananda merit cum means scholarship ) is available for eligible candidates ( students who scored above 75% in the higher secondary examination ).

Campus Life

3

The college campus is cool. The seniors are very cooperative and helpful to the juniors and freshers. There are many clubs for various event organisations and philanthropic activities. In the library books for every course is available. The students need to issue the books from Library and renew them every month. The college ground for sports is very vast. There are many sports events going on most of the time.

I’d rate HIT’s placement opportunities as 7.5/10 overall. It’s very good for CSE, IT, and ECE, decent for Electrical and core branches, and improving every year with more companies visiting and better preparation programs. If you’re skilled and consistent — especially in coding, communication, and aptitude — you’ll almost certainly get placed before graduatin

7th semester is when the students get to sit for placements. I am not sure about the total no of companies visited but I am aware of the name of few companies like IBM Infosys Wipro Capsitech Tech Mahindra cognizant etc . Mostly the girls are 100 percent placed cause there is diversity hiring. Mass recruiters is what visit our campus mostly.. I personally would look for a job after graduation highest package offered displayed by college is 75 lpa but I don't think so it is real. Maybe someone had worked hard and got placed off campus. On campus highest isbi guess 12-14 lpa

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I choose Data Science as it is new to my college when comparing with the other branches. The curriculum is just okay it is not per industry standards but if students deep drives in each aspects then they are likely to crack GATE exams. - The whole curriculum needs and improvement from the very 1st Year and removal of irrelevant subjects like Discrete Mathematics, Electonics, Biology for IT branches are required. - Semester exams are conducted every 6 months and CTs are conducted every 2 months

For campus placements student become eligible from the 7th semester onwards and for internships student get eligible from 5th semester onwards. Wide no of companies visited our campus around 180+ and made around 580+ offers to the students. The highest salary was 58LPA which was offered by DE Shaw and the highest accepted salary was 51LPA in Microsoft. The average package rolls roughly around 10-12 LPA.The profile offered include SDE roles, management roles, finance in some cases. The overall placement percentage was around 80% with Branches like electrical and metallurgy moving above 90% followed by CSE and ECE in the mid 80s while for biotech and civil the placement percentage are generally below 70.My plans after getting the degree is to land a job offer from on campus placements.Therefafter maybe look out for and MBA from top B schools of india.
