Remarks

The admission process went smoothly and within some hours of applying my application got selected after that I paid fees and secured my seat. So no issues with the admission process and Delhi University has very good management in the admission process.

Course Curriculum Overview

Due to COVID, admissions were late so semester 1 exams were just 2 months after admission. 1st and 3rd-semester exams were OBE(Open Book Examination) so they were quite easy but due to the huge COVID wave in May 2021, 2nd sem exam got canceled and we were passed.

Internships Opportunities

Since I got admission in COVID outbreak and till now(2022) Covid is not over so there were not such Internship opportunities in the College. The college has been closed for almost 2 years. Now it is going to open.

Fees and Financial Aid

Duration, of course, is 3 years and a fee of 1 year is 20,450. So the total fee is 61,350 for all categories ( for PWD, the total fee is 270). All the available scholarships are listed on the Delhi University website but to all my knowledge these scholarships are hard to get. Due to COVID, there are not many internship opportunities.

Campus Life

There are many clubs such as Institution's Innovation council which guides for career paths. It has invited many people like former Paytm Vice President for career Guidance. There is Eco Club that also does many things for the environment.

Hansraj College, University of Delhi | Bsc Chemistry Hons

I got admission but was not interested in chemistry Hons at all.

KMC- Path to learn and grow

Placement Experience:

The placements cell Avenues regarding the placement offers coming to the college. Major companies of the job market come to the campus for recruitment like KPMG, deloitte, zepto, EY, ZS Associates and many more. The students from the final year itself gets eligible for placements. Around 30-40% students get the palcements through the placement drive. The highest package during the last palcement season was around 18 to 20LPA, while the average was 7 to 8LPA. I will certainly go for higher studies in operational research.

My honest experience at kirorimal college

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for the placement support in the 5th semester itself and 3rd semester for internship from the college. Well over 150+ companies visit our college because of the regirous efforts of our placement cell the highest package is 24lpa the average comes out between 5.5 to 6lpa Around 70 to 80 percentage of students get placed and after my graduation i plan to go for a MBA in finance.

My Experience at KMC

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester students starts getting placement opportunites.155 companies came in KMC including big 4 the highest package was 24.8 LPA and average package was 10.8 LPA. There were around 60% students which got placed. I am thinking of puruing master in mathematics after getting my UG degree

The course curriculum is aligned with the today's requirements but it could be better. More practical than theoretical knowledge should be taught and industry level knowledge should be provided. End sems are mainly conducted in dec-jan and may-june months and timings differ shiftwise. Morning times are 9:30 pm to 12:30 pm and afternoon timings are 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.

I choose this college because this college is most nearest Delhi University college from my home. I got this college because of my CUET marks and the preference list I made in CSAS portal. Cut off for my colleagues is not very high therefore students who want to get a good college and not expecting to get the north campus college prefer my college and the same reason I chose this college. Mostly bachelor of arts and Bachelor of commerce students prefer this college and only few students choose bachelor of science course provided by my college.
