Jmi btech review

I Parvez Raza Siddiqui currently pursuing my BTech from Jamia Millia Islamia from computer engineering 2021-2025. For admission in Jamia, you have to fill jee mains and also a separate form that jmi releases for BTech. You have to attempt to jee main examination then based on jee main rank jmi releases its list for the selected student. For computer engineering, the cutoff generally ranges around 30k and at last for civil 80k. The placement is decent for the computer branch if you are an avg student you can easily grab a 10+ package.

Jmi is the syllabus for BTech is like nits. It has 2 sem per year every sem contain 2 sessional and one end sem exam. Sessional marks are for internal assessment. Attendance should be above 75 percent if not then you may face problems for the exam. Faculty is very helpful approx all professors are PhD and from nits iits.

As Jamia is located in Delhi it has good internship opportunities many students get paid internships and some also got an internship in big companies like Microsoft amazon. And some students opted for open source projects

Placement is the distance for computer science and electronic branch. Followed by mechanical and least for civil. A civil student generally opted for higher study in foreign. Avg package is around 8 LPA. If you are sincere you can easily grab 10+.

Jmi provides BTech at a very cheap price. Its annual fee for BTech is 16150 and for hostels around 8k for a whole year. Many scholarships also come time by time. So its return on investment is very good.

Jmi provides great exposure. As it is located in central Delhi it has all facilities available. Jmi has a 250 acre campus area. Its sports stadium is one of the best 2010 commonwealth games that were held in that stadium. There is a lack of hostels so you may face problems in getting a hostel in the first year. Hostels are allotted on the basis of student home town distant from Jamia.
