Remarks

Through West Bengal, Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) & Counseling based on rank. After passing Higher Secondary or any equivalent examination from any board. There was also seat reservation for SC, ST,OBC & TFW candidates.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) as I want to be a Software Engineer in the future. The ratio of girl & boy is very high. Faculty are very well & teaching method is also good. The exam will be easy if you study.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 17000 per year

Placement Experience

from 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Overall 60-70% got placed with the average package of 2-4lpa. Lot of tech companies like Wipro,Infosis,TCS, IBM visit this college for taking students.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is fee remission for SC,ST & TFW candidates. If the candidate is from WBCHSC Board he or she can apply for Bikash Bhaban Scholarship (RS 60000 per year, total RS 240000). For SC ST & OBC candidates OASIS Scholarship can be applied.

Campus Life

Saraswati Puja in February, Teachers Day on the month of september. The college have a library,students of this college can take book from there for study. The library is not so advanced but still good.

IIT KGP: The kgpian way

Placement Experience:

4 yr btech students are eligible for cdc internship from the starting of their 3rd yr(5th sem) and for placement 7th sem. 5 yr dual degree students are eligible for cdc internship from the starting of 4th yr(7th sem) and for placement 9th sem. So many different profile companies came for placements like amazon, google, ibm, apple, l&t, wipro, infosys, texas intrument, etc. Highest package was 3cr and average is about 20-25 lakhs. Insightful Review - Revealing about campus life and academics.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from 7th semeter. Companies visited till now are : tejes - 9lpa, keysite - 7lpa, streebo - 5lpa and a few other product based companies with average pakage offered about 3lpa. Higest pakage - salesforce (32 lpa) off campus, keysite (7lpa) on campus. Last year 60% of total students from final year got placed. My plans is to purusue a higher degree as placement scene of your college is not that great and also i have intrest in ai/ml so i want to study future and dive more deep into its concepts

The course curriculum is not that different from other colleges. At the beginning or 1 st semester we are made to complete the bridge course which basically includes stuff we read in classes 11 and 12. But then also they can't teach properly the already read topics.
