Amazing internship offers

Taking admission into such a prestigious university was really easy. After taking the JEE exam and when you get the results, if you are have qualified for the exam, you have to apply on JAC (joint admission counselling) portal, where you can opt for different colleges and different courses. When the cut off is out, you get the admission letter from the respective college and course you're eligible for. Then you have to appear in the college with all the relevant documents during the day of admission and it was really a smooth procedure. You need to get 75+ percentage in the 12th board as well. For reserved category students, the cut is around 50-60 percentage in 12th boards.

Computer science is one of the most demanding subject or branches in the current scenario as placement is really very good. Faculty here at IGDTUW is good, they will help you for all sort of research work and quality of teaching is average. Every classroom has a smart board. You will have one mid term exam and one end term exam for every subject and laboratory practical and viva too. You can easily get the study material and previous year papers from the photocopy shop.

During the end of the second year, different companies visit for hiring students for summer internships like amazon, Microsoft, Western digital, intuit, Deutsche bank, Google, Walmart, Flipkart etc. With a good amount of stipend ranging from 35, 000 to 1lakh. And after the end of the third year, different companies that do visit for placement also offer internships for 6 months.

Placement here at IGDTUW is really really good especially for CSE and IT branches. Those who did the hard work got the good packages and highest package was around 50 lakh and lowest was 3.5 lakh. Almost 90% of CSE was placed. Different companies like accenture, Microsoft, amazon, intuit, LinkedIn, google, Ericsson, Deutsche bank, amex, adidas, sandisk etc do visit here.

The fees structure was the same for all 4 years during my time. It was 75,000 per year. There are different scholarships by Delhi and the central govt. For students belonging to a reserved category or EWS category etc, you can easily find them on e-distict website. I got placed at Accenture last year.

Annual fest "Tarangana" which is one of the best things happens in the college. Annual fest mainly occurs in the last week of Jan or the first week of Feb and it is for 2 days. The technical fest here is "innerve" Which is also really good and innovative. Classrooms here at IGDTU are quite spacious and have Smartboards. There are different technical, dance, drama, literature etc societies as well and one can join them as per their interest. There is one basketball and tennis court as well on the campus.
