Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Studying the life sciences will provide you with a foundation of knowledge domains and ways of exploring the planet. The life sciences pervade numerous aspects of our lives from health care to the environment, to debates about somatic cell research and genetic testing. While dramatic scientific progress has been made in recent decades, such a lot remains unknown. I don't know the exact ratio of student and faculty but I can make you sure that you will be having the best staff of teaching with great enthusiasm and with the best they can provide all the faculty members are well qualified and all have done there Ph.D. and are pursuing there PhD there are semester wise examinations in between you will have your internals and assignment if you will study on time take all the classes on time you will not find your exams difficult at all

Internships Opportunities

4

Many companies like ferns and petal ey global and 100+ internship opportunities are provided to students. Our college placement cell is extremely active. Internship in hr, sales department, marketing, voice inbound, and lots of more are provided. In Science streams, there are internships but you have to be an active student for that keep on checking the websites as dedo for internships also maintain your teacher-student relationship well as teachers also help the students to get an internship

Placement Experience

3.5

Students of the third year are eligible for campus placements. There are many companies that visit every year at Dyal Singh the number of the company visited till now is 150+ The average salary package is 4.5 LPA Highest paid salary is 10 LPA

Fees and Financial Aid

approx 41000 till now including all charges of examination fees too. But there could be some hike in coming years. college provides a scholarships facility also, for a scholarship you'll apply for a national scholarship program And fill the form on Dyal Singh College official site. Some other scholarships ate also provided for economically weaker students.

Campus Life

4

The students aren't happy about the infrastructure like in most government colleges. apart from the Auditorium and Seminar hall, there's no place open for college kids which is air-conditioned. The campus is not clean either. the school lacks basic sports facilities, however, the basketball court is good and therefore the gridiron is large. The placement scenario isn't that good for the science and arithmetic departments. Though good companies show up for recruitment, most of them want Bcom or Economics Hons graduates. Also, the science and arithmetic departments don't show much interest in helping to urge their students placed. However, that's not the case if you join another course. I even have seen teachers greatly encouraging their students to travel ahead and participate. There are several societies present within the college for the additional-curricular activities. So one is often a neighborhood of 1 or more depending upon his or her interest

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was always interested course. It's relevant to the exams in that particular field. The syllabus for life and other exams in this field. I think that there is a lack of actual real life practice in basic courses. If could be made more aligned to what we do in real life it would have been better. The exams are easy enough to pass by just studying one month before exams and submitting the internal assessments properly. There are end semester exams which gives enough time to prepare well.

Course Curriculum Overview:

i believe CS hons is a decent course. The curriculum is however, very outdated. We are being taught several topics that have no relevance these days and they arent even taught properly. I believe a far better choice would be doing BTech instead since it has a better course and companies prefer that over BSc CS. In terms of preparing for the real world, i believe this course has no use since the most important parts we have to learn it ourselves. Exams are conducted once at the end of every semester (including practical and theory). However during the semesters, there are multiple tests taken to asses our knowledge regularly

I chose this course because statistics is a rising field and is used everywhere . Also l had a good command on Statistics and maths in 12th standard. I believe that this course is really very relevant for today's world but could be made a bit more practical to be applied in real world situations.
