Course Curriculum Overview

5

the course bsc statistics is very relevant in present since it can be easily integrated with data science and artificial intelligence and can get student a decent job. moreover, stats can be paired with professional courses like actuarial science

Internships Opportunities

3

yes there are internship opportunities but im not well aware of them so i wont be taking any help from college for that. one has to get good internships on their own and can not solely rely on the placement call of the college.

Placement Experience

4

the placements of ramjas college is average usually betwee 7 to 8 lakhs. it also depends on the student's course and whether they are building their skill set along their journey. i plan to give actuarial exams after the degree so that i can get better oppotunities

Fees and Financial Aid

the tuitton fee i paid i around 18000, there are several scholarships like PM vidyalaxmi scheme that are availale to EWS candidates. students can apply for govt scholarships. the tuition fee is already heavily subsidized and even if we compare it with other DU colleges, it is still affordable

Campus Life

5

the overall experience is really good, meeting new people from different backgrounds. the socieites are very active and engaging. some events keep happening so we get exposure from many actual experts also

Admission

i chose this college over sri venkateshwara college because of the north campus reputation, prestige, and competitive environment here. i couldnt make it to hindu college because of the cuet cut off. the admission is done through cuet exams

Faculty

4

the faculty to student ratio is notgood. a single teacher has atleast a 100 students to look upon. i like the faculty of stats since they are very knowlwdgable and always ask us to bring doubts and try to make class engaging

Night Life

4

i do not live near my college so im not well aware of the night life. but there are several cafes in kamla nagar and hudson lane. also since a lot of students live in PGs so there are many stydents you can meet in your area

Other Applied Colleges

Jesus and Mary College - [JMC] | Bachelor of Arts [BA] {Hons.} (Economics)

since it is an all girls college and a co ed college can prepare a student for gender diverse workplaces and social settings. moreover, ,north campus colleegs provide better opportunities and exposure

Acharya Narendra Dev College - [ANDC], Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] {Hons.} (Biomedical Sciences)
Reviewed on Mar 3, 2026(Enrolled 2024)

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course Biomedical Sciences is very interesting as well as challenging, it covers various fields of sciences and has great scope in terms of research. The course connects theory with real world applications in hospitals and research laboratories. A few examples would include, antibacterial testing, PFT, EMG, blood tests, which are commonly performed in hospitals. The course also helps us to pursue our hands in research further by providing us with hands on training for skills such as biostatistics, writing scientific literature, lab skills, etc. A few improvements that I would suggest is the removal of outdated testing methods and practicals from the curriculum that are not essential for the real world currently. The teaching methods are quite good and interesting. The exams are conducted at the end of each semester and are relevant to the curriculum. The practical exams test your knowledge of hands on experience that you've gained while doing lab work. Theory exams are of 3 hours as per usual and test your theoretical knowledge from books and classes mainly.

The average placements is around 5 to 6 lpa. However, a lot students here prefer masters and so a very few take placements, we have a entreprenuerial lab here which allows students to start their own startups and a lot of companies do visit in campus and hire students also. However, my plans would be pursuing for post grad entrance exams if I did'nt get placement.
