1st of all fill up the form for admission and take a little Entrance exam conducted in our university. After that pay seat booking fees, submitted the admission form, and pay due admission fees. Finally, admission process will be done.

1st of all professionals in Biotechnology can contribute to development in various sectors and industries, so i can choose this course. The average of students per faculty member is 16:1 according to 2021. Every faculty member, their teaching method is so so good and their behavior is so friendly and so good. Time limits can set a standard and no difficulty was to pass.

Placement Experience:

College does provide internship opportunities both through the placement cell as well as department faculty. Semester 5 and Semester 7 students are eligible for placements. Average package is about 5.5 lakh per annum for microbiology course. Although placement percentage is on the lower side majority of students go for higher studies. Many prepare for exams like GATE, IIT JAM, etc.

college placements are good in this college with a number of good financial and consultancy firms coming in with new gen companies as well in the service and sales industry. moreoever getting a good placement in a top financial or consultancy placement requires a POR in a good society as a criteria, its not really required but adds to your chances of getting it. moreover you require to participate in a number of case study competitions for the same as well. my plans after graduation is probably working for a year or two after which i plan on doing my MBA. around 50-60% who apply get a placement.

My experience at St. Xavier's

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course theory helps us gain a solid understanding of the subject matter. Film studies and Mass Communication theory classes has laid down the foundation of the subject- from what is a shot and the kinds of shots and angles, to the beginning of radio in India and essays by CS Pierce and John Berger. The course also includes practical classes in the sound labs, editing labs and we will learn to use a camera, as one of the things we will have to do in this course is make films of our own.

We have a placement cell helping students get placed. They keep posting opportunities like internships and fellowships throughout the year to groom students and give them exposure and experience. Placements can go to very high packages like those in Data Science, Big 4 consulting or core finance or banking jobs. CAs, CFAs and FRMs do well in the placements. Brainware University is one of the best university in North 24 parganas. The placement record is very good upto 90%. This fascinated me so I log on to the university website, I filled in the necessary details after choosing BBA. Once the details were filled in, I had to submit 12th marksheet scoring 70%.
