Remarks

I took B.Sc. in Biotech and the admission process was so easy. I attended the entrance exam and then proceeded towards admission, my guide was too good and helpful. For the course the eligibility is H. Sc. examination pass with good marks and have to pass the entrance exam and also based on H. Sc. Marks there is a scholarship which I get. Also, I got an Admission kit. I'm satisfied with the admission process.

Course Curriculum Overview

I had chosen the course Biotechnology because I love to know about many biological subjects like microbiology, cell biology, plant biology, genetics, and many more. Talking about faculty members, they are too good, they always guide us to improve. Their teaching methods are also awesome, they elaborate every topic easily. They also give us time for doubt classes. I'm satisfied with their behavior and their teaching style.

Class Size: 75Course Fees: INR 99000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Total fees for B. Sc. On Biotechnology is 297000/- Rupees but I got a scholarship of 50000/- rupees so my total fees are 247000/- rupees. The university prepares us for good job interviews and also give us many opportunities like joining different type of webinars, exploring libraries, and many more.

Campus Life

The campus is raging free and Eco friendly, There is Canton, a food court, a huge playground, a fountain, a pool, and many other things. There are so many clubs to join and learn many things. There are always some competitions and fests where we, students can show our creativity and talents.

It was good to be a part of that college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say the course is good but you have to opt for masters and PhD to get a good placement. After bsc there's not any placement. The curriculum was basically practical and theoretical based. But I think it should be more practical so that we can get a job after doing bsc. The teaching method was good I didn't have any problem with that. As it was under Calcutta University so the exam questions were too difficult, sometimes it came out of our syllabus , i think they should change this a little bit .

The reality of SCC

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus for BSc. Microbiology Hons. was in line with my interests. Few topics like virology, bacteriology, and diversity of the microbial workd are what drew my attention to pick this course. Although there are some portions which one would consider "boring", but I believe every subject has its interesting as well as boring portions. It's seems fair to judge a subject by seeing if the "boring" portions outweigh the "interesting" parts or not.

In terms of relevance and comprehensiveness of the course curriculum, my rating is solid 4.1 out of 5. Because it offers a variety of courses like compulsory english, environmental science, constitution values of India, Inter Disciplinary Courses where one can opt for a variety of subjects which change along with the course proceeds or semester changes. Not only that two major papers and one minor paper are present throughout the semester. As a student we should be well aware of our country and its law as well as how we can keep our environment healthy followed by sustainable development.

Brainware, The Affordable College.

I chose this college cause it is a value for money college. The other colleges that i applied for are - Adamas University, Swami Vivekananda University. Comparing this college(Brainware University) with Adamas University - The course fee is very high in Adamas University than Brainware University. Total Fee for Btech CSE in Adamas University is 8,00,000 while 419600 in Brainware university, meaning half the price. The fee structure in Swami vivekananda University is 3,60,000 but it hasnt much placement opportunities so brainware univeristy is like all for one with low fees . No, i didnt get rejected from other colleges i just chose this because it takes less money than Adamas which is very high and a little more than swami vivekannda with less placements opportunities....Read More

BRAINWARE, THE AFFORDABLE ONE.

I chose this college coz the fee structure is much less then other colleges near me. I applied for Adamas University but after going after the fees structure(8 laks for Btech CSE) while i can apply for it in Brainware University for the half of it.(4.5lakhs for Btech CSE) No, I didnt got rejected from other colleges. The admission process is very easy. The eligibility for Btech is the students must have more than 60% in aggregate in PCM(Physics, Chemistry and Math). There is an exam that we have to give for those under 80% to get admission in the college....Read More
