Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I have a history in 12th standard but I am more in touch with political due to the high cutoff I was not eligible to apply so I chose history rather than other subjects. All students are very active as we all know drc is women's college and all the girls are very helpful and ambitious and hardworking I am completely satisfied with everything nice infrastructure teachers are well qualified and helping in nature they are supportive. Societies help students to evolve themselves. I did not give any exams yet but yes because of good direction I will secure good marks.

Internships Opportunities

4

Name of some internship companies are vital fission, tribal vibe, airtel different position like that of campus ambassador and or human resources head, etc. we get lots of opportunities like learning lots of skills in college we also have lots of societies to build but interests and confidence.

Placement Experience

4

As a student of BA honours we do not get any direct placement but yes we have alot opportunities of for internships and all. The placement to the college is around 94% the average salary is around for freshers 1.5 LPA highest salary is 4 LPA. Pursuing MA political science.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure of du is far less than any private institute and this is not so high in terms of education at all and those who are unable to afford have different types of schemes related to scholarships. The first scholarship is NSP means the national scholarship portal for the students who are unable to afford and the next is the E-District scholarship and fee concession form provided by the college.

Campus Life

4.5

There is no annual fest held because of pandemics but yes there are lots of virtual fests that happen in the last few months organized by seniors and faculty members. Yes, there are all types of books and journals are available in the library fully ac and clean, and peaceful. well maintained calluses Big and good lighting, good ventilation. Very big playground and a special room for sports and a great opportunity for the students have great interest in sports NSO is theirs. Course Curriculum Overview:

the curriculum is decided by delhi university, economics wing and is followed by all the colleges of du, although few topic are often irrevelent which teachers tend to skip. i do feel that curriculum is pretty old and they should introduce new topic which are more related to reak=l world and give us real life experience not just bookish knowledge which is irelevent. they should also ask for students input related to their curriculum, teachers sometimes tedn to just do book reading. internal exmas are taken frequently and difficulty is 3 out of 5

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is a good course. I went for it mainly because I am preparing for UPSC CSE (pretty common around here). In that context the course is helpful, and also for those aiming to enter research, academia, museology, archaeology etc. However there are not many placement opportunities and for most it would be better to pursue masters later on. Teaching methods are inclusive, both english and hindi medium students can comfortably study. However both students and faculties have some complaints regarding the curriculum changes under NEP such as the sequence of courses in each sem.

There's a very active placement cell in my college. They conduct placement drives, webinars and workshops. Both the jobs and internships are offered. The best package was of 2024 offering 23 Lpa and the average is around 6 Lpa.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course is rightly designed. Plus the teachers often suggest books that can be read from library regarding course topics. The library is very nice here. I used to study in the library for long hours. The exam notes and everything is available at the photocopy shop that's inside the college. Writing this review really made me miss the college more

Placements definitely stands out as passive placement cell of the college is too good. They are quite aggressive and keep attacking us with getting ready for placements. As top corporate house like Big 4 and top Indian conglomerate also comes to our college for placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Initially i took this course beacuse i filled it as a backup for coming into delhi university but now i can say that the course is very interesting and it is practically applicable in daily life. Tho the theory exams are quite difficult and subjects like advance mme where max students fail exist but then also it is doable and has market value

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is done in the 3rd year. The highest PPO given is 24,00,000 to auditing and taxation departments. Average package is about ?15,00,000 to ?18,00,000. Companies like Eay, KPMG and more visit our college for placement. Most students under the commerce department get offered internships. Other than this, the placement cell also actively keeps sending internship opportunities for students to enhance their profiles. I am an English honours student l, thus there is no placement option for me directly unless I take up options from the P-Cell. I have already interned at EY India, Gurgaon, as a forensics and risk management specialist( throigh personal referral). My knowledge (attained from DCAC) of research, report and article writing were used adequately.

Placement Experience:

Generally, after BA no one is placed and even if we apply for a job we don't get a good package. So, students generally go for masters or some other courses through which they can get placements. Talking of college placement and internship cell we don't have very good facilities as very limited companies are there for recruiting students. Many students don't even get the internship. This is a major negative point of college.
