Remarks

Eligibility for BSc is an intermediate pass with 50% minimum marks. Application forms come on the official Jmicoe website,due to covid19 the date of application is fluctuate. Generally, it comes in the month of May June. Jamia gives many reservation to Minorities, Schedule cast, and women. However there is nothing to improve but Jamia should take fees via Online payment.

Course Curriculum Overview

I am interested in physics as well as Math so i got a better opportunity by choosing BSc to gain more knowledge in this field. The faculty is better than any other Central University. Teacher students ratio is 10:1 which is desirable. Teachers are hard-working but not much experienced, they teach very well. The teaching method is lag behind assignments. Every month there is the assignment of each subject and after completing the semester, the exams are held, which is depend upon you that how seriously you made notes because they give questions from notes.

Fees and Financial Aid

Very few fees hike due to central university but if you talk about the cost of study then it is high because Delhi is a very expensive city. Jamia Millia Islamia gives Azmi scholarship, Jamia teacher scholarship, and some technical scholarship and women scholarship. Besides this one can apply for a National scholarship which provides you with your fees.

Campus Life

Jamia conducts its annual fest every year. This fest is known as Miraas. And some technical fest also held by Faculty of Engineering and technology. Every book is available in the central library of dr Zakir Hussain library. Classrooms are neat and clean and can attain 100 students. All classrooms are air-conditioned. Jamia had its own sports complex which has many games and every year held tournaments. Jamia is multicultural university so here you found all types of social groups. I know some of them are geeksofjamia and bhartiya Jamia meme party. They are available on Instagram and helps you a lot.

yes you will get intership opprtunity here and placements also if you did well in your college life like you managed both academic and college life and also learned skills, upskilled yourself. 100+ offers were there with 24.8 LPA highest CTC and 6 LPA avg CTC . finance and risk students have highest percentage of placements like approx 58% , 30% fort echnology and support and remaining for media and content, Human resources, counselling etc.

College life in Dyal Singh College

Campus Life:

The Fest organised by this college is Priyadarshini and the annual fest Rajnigandha. The Fest are not great in comparison to other du college and are not that much celebrated. There are many different kinds books present in library like literature,Hindi, Chemistry, Maths, zoology, biology, botany, political science, History Geography the books are only alloted till 12pm and only for 15 days after that you will be charged if book is not returned Sports and Extracurricular are good but classrooms are not that great most projectors in classrooms don't work . There are many good societies in college like jamini the art society and others but joining has caused students to leave their classes which affects them academically

Course Curriculum Overview:

Exams are only held once per semester, the IA marks are based on class tests, presentations, lab work and attendance. The syllabus and core curriculum are the same for all the DU colleges. Relevance pretty much depends on you; if you know what you signed up for and prepare accordingly, I can't see a reason why someone would find it irrelevant. Although some elective subjects (like sec and vac) might serve some outdated or irrelevant methods because they're newly introduced, and many DU colleges have this issue, but it's not extreme, some efforts from your side and some from the college's can ovecome this.

What's life really like at BCAS

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the course curriculum as highly relevant and fairly comprehensive especially for the students inclined towards applied science and technology. one of the main reasons i chose this course was the balance between the theoretical understanding and the practical application, supported by well equipped laboratories and project based assessments. The inclusion of skill enhancement course and the discipline elective papers provides felxibility and helps students explore interdisciplinary areas. but there is still a room for improvement in making the styllabus more industry oriented, such as integrating internships and live projects and workshops with industry partners to enhance pratical exposure. exams are also prepared in a way that simply memorizing the concept won't help rather deep understanding of the subjects would be needed that is they are much more aplication of comcept oriented. with consistent preparation you can perform well.

KMC- Path to learn and grow

Placement Experience:

The placements cell Avenues regarding the placement offers coming to the college. Major companies of the job market come to the campus for recruitment like KPMG, deloitte, zepto, EY, ZS Associates and many more. The students from the final year itself gets eligible for placements. Around 30-40% students get the palcements through the placement drive. The highest package during the last palcement season was around 18 to 20LPA, while the average was 7 to 8LPA. I will certainly go for higher studies in operational research.

My honest experience at kirorimal college

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for the placement support in the 5th semester itself and 3rd semester for internship from the college. Well over 150+ companies visit our college because of the regirous efforts of our placement cell the highest package is 24lpa the average comes out between 5.5 to 6lpa Around 70 to 80 percentage of students get placed and after my graduation i plan to go for a MBA in finance.

My Experience at KMC

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester students starts getting placement opportunites.155 companies came in KMC including big 4 the highest package was 24.8 LPA and average package was 10.8 LPA. There were around 60% students which got placed. I am thinking of puruing master in mathematics after getting my UG degree

Shivaji College Experience

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for the placements provided by the college in their 3rd year, while they can pursue internship offered by the college in previous years. Average sized companies visited the campus with lots of students being placed for jobs. The highest package I am not aware of but lowest was of around 300000 pa. I plan to pursue masters after my graduation degree.

The main reason of rejecting other two colleges and joining Jamia was that Jamia is Central University.
