Insight to Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College , Delhi Univesity

I'm a general category student. I initially applied to YMCA University and I even got admission in it in the same course that I'm doing now. But then later when DU cut offs came out , my only goal was to find a good college there and luckily i got it. I chose DU over YMCA because it's definitely better in all scenarios. Now about the admission process , due to covid our whole admission process was done online only. It was simple, we were just required to submit some important documents like our marksheets , Aadhar card , bank card details , mail ID , active phone number etc. I got admission very early because I was qualified according to the marks required in the cutoff .

I chose this couse because chemistry is my strongest subject.The faculty here is good. The teachers despite the online classes are trying their best to teach us in every possible manner . They take classes regularly, promote and encourage the students to speak up whenever they want to answer or are having a doubt . Practicals are also held regularly every week. We get weekly assignments and tests to test our knowledge. All the teachers are highly experienced and well qualified . Most of them have cleared major exams like GATE , JAM , NET JRF etc . Teachers usually teach us with the help of a PPT and tell us the books to be used beforehand and also provide book pdfs.The student ratio is like 50:50. One section can have upto 40 students but sometimes we have combined classes of 2 sections for practicals and that time class strength crosses 85 sometimes which is very normal. We had our 1st sem exams on designated dates but 2nd sem exams were cancelled due to some issues .

Companies such as Bird Worldwide Flight Pvt Ltd and Burger Singh have started to invite students for placements. The College has earlier conducted placements with the highest package going up to 21 lakhs.

The fees of any course under this college is very low and easily affordable . Seriously this is the best thing that I've noticed here . You still get a lot of things in this much fees. Good teachers , good resources etc. I'm not having any specific knowledge on scholarships but the low cost is itself a financial assistance to so many people . Yes , I've heard about on campus jobs but again I'm not much familiar about them . I hope it helped a bit but since we haven't even seen our college after boards , we were not able to interact with the seniors even . That would have helped us in many ways .

Again we're having classes on nline mode so I've no idea about the campus life and all but from what I've heard I'ts pretty good . Campus is also very vast and very green.We have seperate laboratories and differest playgrounds too.
