A good college to study,good environment, good faculty college is very good in commerce department so best college for commerce students.

After completing my schooling i got an admission in this college on my merits.

Internships Opportunities

My internship was quite good as i got a job in ICA.

Placement Experience

Many amongst us got placed n all offer was about Rs.1.8 lacs p.a, even i got a package of Rs 1.96 p.a.

College Events

College fest used to held once in a year in different auditoriums with college students n some local bands use to come.

Fees and Financial Aid

I was not so studious so i dnt have any idea about that but i had heard that some students got scholarship.

Campus Life

Girls were more in respect of boys since i was in commerce department so no idea about labs, sports used to held every year but i didn't participated.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel was not clean and food is pathetic.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

As in every college here also we have to bear with the seniors but that was upto certain limit.

Faculty

This college is the 2nd best college in commerce dept in North kolkata and faculty is very good.

Placement Experience:

Idk but i guess students become eligible from 2nd or 3rd sem. Idk what is the company visited but the placements are very good i heard that, avg package varies 2.4 lpa I guess. Right now i am doing internship so as of now i don't have plans.

Most of the students also get placement opportunities whether large or small package The opportunity is given to all degree whether it be bcom or bcom hons . Any student who does not get placed can easily use the degree to get a high paying off campus placements and to go to any good college or stay in this college for their post graduation.

The course curriculum is backdated and should be improvised as it doesn't give any exposure of present industry knowledge. The frequency of exams is that exams are held after 6 months on semester basis and are easy to pass and majority of the students pass this semester easily.

Quite an Average Government College which lacks in infrastructure, faculty, and placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I mentioned, the course curriculum is outdated and no new industry knowledge is being taught. Projects and assignments are also bookish and are just for sake. Teaching methods by teachers are also bookish and backward. The frequency of exams are after every 6 months and are pretty manageable and easy.

SAJC - From The Eye of a Student.

There was only 3 better colleges I couldn't apply to. They were St.Xaviers Kolkata, Goenka and Maulana Azad. Seth Anandram Jaipuria College is among the top 5 colleges and is well known. It is also the best college in North Kolkata, some might not agree to me though. The deciding factors for me were very low fees, decent quality teachers, and the most important, quality of crowd and reputation of the college.
