Remarks
The admission process was fairly easy , and transferring to another college is also hassle-free as delhi university's portal is easy to use. The only problem I faced was, my application getting rejected due to college's technical issues . Later the problem was rectified & I was granted admission.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this programme as it is a career oriented course & provides placement opportunities. The classroom atmosphere is good , even though the classes are conducted online , our doubts , queries etc are well addressed. Most of our professors are young & dynamic & helpful in resolving our queries. College & university conducts regular examinations, nowadays due to online education , exams are conducted in OBE ( OPEN BOOK Examination ) mode , which has deteriorated the quality of exams. Other than that , the college offers many opportunities & help us to be a better person.
Internships Opportunities
I haven't gotten an internship opportunity, as it is provided in the second year only. The college provides various internship opportunities, most of them are in start-ups in New Delhi . Some students are offered jobs after their internships but the majority aren't offered any.
Placement Experience
Our college offers placement, the majority of placements are taken by bcom students. Students can sit for placements from the final year only . Various MNC's & big 4 companies like Deloitte, KPMG,pwC etc visit our college for placements. The highest package was 30 lakhs CTC , but the average package remains in range of 5-7 lakhs CTC. More than 70% get placed, lot of students don't sit for placement & wish to pursue their education by doing MBA or masters.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are various scholarships offered by the University of Delhi, I haven't recieved any scholarships. Most of the scholarships provided are for weaker economical sections & reserved communities. There are other scholarships like Central sector scholarship which everyone can apply for. The college fee is nominal & the facilities we get are really worth the fees paid.
Campus Life
The annual fest is called the renaissance, and it is one of the attractions of our college , it is usually conducted in the month of March. The college Library contains lot of content & other facilities but is currently not active due to covid pandemic. Our college conducts various sporting events & has lot of atheletes in its list of alumnus , currently most of the events are conducted online due to the pandemic. Various societies are present in the campus , working accross several domains like social welfare , entrepreneurship , dramatics , dance , robotics etc. The college also has NCC & NSS , for volunteering. These societies conduct various events & have a strong social media presence.
