I have chosen this because machanical engineering demands dedication, hard work and it provides to learn new things which develops our skills and logical thinking skills. 72 percent to students faculty ratio Teachers are well qualified with PhD. Teaching quality is good and study materials provide by teachers also very good. They teaching as friendly way ,which makes students to attract in studies and teachers make ready to students for industry. At the end they give best notes which is easy to learn. SEMESTER EXAMS some times DIFFICULT but students can pass easily if they study notes properly.

Around 50-60% of students are placed every year in our course. The highest salary package is 8 LPA, and the average salary package is 3-4 LPA. The lowest salary package is 2.5 LPA. Godrej and Infosys are top recruiting companies who hire students from our college. Most of the students got an internship, and the role offered are technical and IT-based.

Chandigarh College of Engineering & Technology (CCET) has an active training & placement cell. Despite the challenges of pandemic conditions the institute experienced the highest ever CTC offer during its placement drive. Placements in Computer Science Engineering & Electronics & Communication Engineering streams were unaffected during the pandemic. The highest CTC of INR 32 LPA was offered to a CSE student by Amazon. The average CTC sood at INR 5 LPA. Recruiters like American Express & O9 Solutions also made a good amount of CTC. American Express also placed a student with a CTC offer of INR 11.27 LPA & O9 Solution placed 4 students with a CTC offer of INR 9.12 LPA.

The fees of courses are 30k to 34k per semester and it will take around 3 lakh for the whole BTech. scholarship provided here that 3 students of every year will get 100% fee off. Anyone can get graduated free if anyone wants. Placement of cse and ece is very good but mechanical has less than cse and ece. The highest salary package offered is 34LPA FOR cse by companies like Amazon, Flipkart, etc, visit our college for placement. Idk for mechanical but I know it's less placement.

The campus is a little good and quite interesting. There are fests held annually usually in the month of October having any competitions related to skills and fields. The library is full of important and interesting books as well as academic-related books.it has a playground and also the opportunity to compete and play with others. The playground is a little good not so interesting but also in ccet there are groups to join singing, drama, etc clubs activities going on every time.
