Remarks

It's a very good college with good placement opportunities. Established in 2016. It is located on the bank of river torsa. The classrooms are very comfortable. The teaching staffs are also very good.

Course Curriculum Overview

I want to become a software engineer. Student-teacher ratio is 1:30 The faculty members have done Ph.D. from Jadavpur University. They have the perfect process of teaching. There are 4 internal assessments and the semester exam.

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 13000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Actually, I am in the 1st semester and I don't know much about it. I have applied for an internship but waiting for it to be held. I hope my review helps you out to know about the college.

Placement Experience

From the 6th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like tcs, wipro, Mahindra, and many others visited our college. The highest package till now offered is 15 lakhs and on average it's 9 lakhs. 98% of students get placed in various companies. I want to join a gaming company. Make various high graphics online games.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are very nominal. It's a very good college with low fee structure and it provides opportunities for the poor students to afford quality education. I have applied for svcm scholarship. I am studying in the batch of 2025.

Campus Life

4.5

The annual fest will be held in the month of march and the tech fest was really awesome. There were various events like gaming,audrino, coding, etc. The college has a huge library with lots of books and journals. The labs are air-conditioned. Various sports events take place at regular intervals like football, basketball, etc. There are various clubs like gaming club, pep talks, coding club , dancing club, etc.

The campus placement from recently past years is slightly good . Placement Experience:

7th semester is when the students get to sit for placements. I am not sure about the total no of companies visited but I am aware of the name of few companies like IBM Infosys Wipro Capsitech Tech Mahindra cognizant etc . Mostly the girls are 100 percent placed cause there is diversity hiring. Mass recruiters is what visit our campus mostly.. I personally would look for a job after graduation highest package offered displayed by college is 75 lpa but I don't think so it is real. Maybe someone had worked hard and got placed off campus. On campus highest isbi guess 12-14 lpa

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I choose Data Science as it is new to my college when comparing with the other branches. The curriculum is just okay it is not per industry standards but if students deep drives in each aspects then they are likely to crack GATE exams. - The whole curriculum needs and improvement from the very 1st Year and removal of irrelevant subjects like Discrete Mathematics, Electonics, Biology for IT branches are required. - Semester exams are conducted every 6 months and CTs are conducted every 2 months

NIT Durgapur:-A wholesome Insight in the college life and it's different aspects

Placement Experience:

For campus placements student become eligible from the 7th semester onwards and for internships student get eligible from 5th semester onwards. Wide no of companies visited our campus around 180+ and made around 580+ offers to the students. The highest salary was 58LPA which was offered by DE Shaw and the highest accepted salary was 51LPA in Microsoft.The average package rolls roughly around 10-12 LPA.The profile offered include SDE roles, management roles,finance in some cases.The overall placement percentage was around 80% with Branches like electrical and metallurgy moving above 90% followed by CSE and ECE in the mid 80s while for biotech and civil the placement percentage are generally below 70.My plans after getting the degree is to land a job offer from on campus placements.Therefafter maybe look out for and MBA from top B schools of india.
