Remarks

One has to be 12th pass from a recognized board to get admission in bsc Hons maths. The application form comes on the website of the University of Delhi. Application fees are 100 rs only. The application form comes in the month of July-August.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because I have a deep interest in learning maths. The faculty-student ratio is 1:10. All faculties are highly educated and have doctorate degrees. They are experienced and have good teaching skills. Exams are based on a semester basis. Semester exams are a bit tuff to crack.

Class Size: 45Course Fees: INR 8000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

This is Government College. Fees are very nominal i.e. approx 8k per anum. There was no fees hike when i was studying. Many scholarships are available like sakhsham scholarship. Placement isn't that good. Every student go for higher studies after completing graduation.

Campus Life

The annual fest name is Leiothrixx which is conducted in the month of March of every year. Departmental fests are conducted between December to February. All course-related books are available in the lab. Classes are laced with a projector and proper fans. Sports competition takes place every year. Many social groups, societies are also here like dance society, quiz society, NSS etc

The companies which comes to college are Kpmg, dillote, Ey, bain and company etc. The average package is around 9 lakh and the highest package is 36.5 lakh.

Students of 3rd semester become eligible for campus placements. Companies like pwc, EY, deloitte has visited our campus and offered packages according to the competency of student. 35-40% people do get placements. My plan after getting the degree is to move abroad and pursue ACCA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is really relevant and comprehensive. For eg in bcom we study business law, company law, Human Resources management, marketing, financial and corporate accounting, finance, busines maths, stats, income tax, cost accounting, economics as ge so all these are really great well structureda and do have real life practical applications therefore i think my course is really very well aligned and comprehensive in terms of the business world.

ANDC= The most average old school type campus life

Good for science courses but infrastructure and surrounding area is not good

I got admission to this college through cuet. I only applied to colleges of DU. Rather than ANDC I applied to Hansraj college of Delhi University but I did not get admission because my marks did not clear the cut off score of that college as Hansraj college is of North campus and has high cut off score.
